So I have been kicking this idea around since I bought the 18 GT A10 and still have not made up my mind. I wanted to ask what you would do if it were you in my place. I have been thinking about taking the 16 back to NA and moving the Procharger and other goodies over to the 18. My 16 GT is real fast, real nice (premium) and is just about everything I could want. The only thing that could be better is if it had a 10 speed auto. The 18 with the 10 speed auto is damn impressive and I can't help but think with a supercharger it would be a high 9 second car.

I can do this with the purchase of and 18 stage 2 crank pulley and a retune on both vehicles (less than $1000 additional investment).

Here are the mods and a couple of pictures of each. Let me know what you would do:

2016 GT Premium Performance Pack M6, Less than 9,200 miles (Competition Orange) Modifications:
  • Procharger P1-X stage 2 supercharger, 4.63" pulley, ID1050x injectors, VMP BAP, UPR Catch Can MAK Inlet pipe
  • 2018 Intake Manifold with IMRC Lockouts, Reische 170 degree thermostat, MMR OPG/CS
  • Lund Racing 93 octane tune on SCT X4 Tuner
  • Boss 302 Blue Coil Covers, Redline Tuning Hood Struts
  • Magnaflow Street Cat Back Exhaust
  • Steeda Progressive Springs, Jacking Rails, Pro-Action Struts and Shocks, Billet Rear Shock Mounts, CC plates
  • BMR CB005 Cradle Lockout
  • GT350 Half Shafts
  • Nitto NT05R 305/35R19 Drag Radials
  • MGW Race Shifter
  • 35% Window Tint, Clear Bra, Weathertech mats, Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap on Roof/Hood Vents
  • Gloss Black Emblems, GT350R Steering Wheel, Start Button, and Shift Knob
  • Ecoboost Boost Gauge Cluster
2018 GT Base Performance Pack with A10, Less than 3,400 miles (Orange Fury) Modifications:
  • Lund Racing 93 octane tune on SCT BDX Tuner
  • JLT Intake and Oil Separator
  • Roush X-Pipe and Axle Back
  • Steeda Progressive Springs, Jacking Rails
  • 25% Window Tint, Weathertech mats, Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap on Roof
  • Gloss Black 5.0 Emblems, Redline Tuning Hood Struts

I'd shift the mods over and sell the '16 at that point. The 18 is better performance wise and paired with that A10, it will be a monster.

Yep. Move the supercharger.

And if you don't need the 16, sell it!

I mean unless you really need 2 orange mustangs with less than 10,000 miles on them!! lol

Put the supercharger on the 18 or put the A10 into the 16 :D

If your main goal is a number at the track then yes switch everything over and run your number. If you like to cruise around, enjoy shifting gears and like to make harder goals them keep the 16 and put it in the 9's. I think comp orange is one of the best colors produced and im not a fan of the 18 front ends.

Leave them as is and use the money you’d save for when you buy the 2020 for your collection.

I'll about always stir the pot if I can or I'd lose my sanity. But it gets me in trouble too.
