I can't see Palm Beach Dyno or Lund not wanting to do a remote custom tune for you, that's what they do. Just go to their website and order a device and custom tune package. I used PBD and my car was dialed in in about 2 hours total. My car drives absolutely perfect everywhere. Best thing I...
I have a Diablosport tuner for my Explorer. All I had to do was hook it up to my PC and enter my VIN. It downloaded the tunes for it and then I just plug it into the OBD2 port. It copies the stock tune, then I can load up whatever canned tune I want. I can return to stock whenever I want. I...
I have a remote custom tune and you need a device for that. As for taking your car into an actual shop for a custom dyno tune I really don't know whether or not they just use a laptop to load the tune or not. I would guess if someone is using an E85, flex and a 91/93 tune, they would need a...
I never understood why someone would sell or trade in their custom tuned vehicle and not either put it back to the stock tune or just give the tuning device with the vehicle. Pretty ignorant not to !
It came with 2-sided tape but I didn’t use it just in case things didn’t work out. I didn’t want to have to clean up whatever mess that would’ve made. I did use masking tape in a few places to line things up. Like the red center marker and where the pattern changes. Made it a lot easier.
Thanks. It turned out even better than I was expecting.
No, didn't remove it. Would've been easier for sure. Still it wasn't too bad as I just kept turning the wheel so I was working at around the 6 o'clock position. I watched a YouTube video on it about half a dozen times on it before I started.
Finally got it done. 4-1/2 hours total stitching the eBay special leather steering wheel cover on. I think it turned out pretty good. I’m happy with it.
Before & after pics :
Started stitching the eBay steering wheel cover I received in the mail yesterday. Pretty tedious and time consuming ! After 1-1/2 hours I've had enough for today. Only got 1/3 of it done but it looks not too bad. I'll post pics when it's completed. Hopefully get it finished tomorrow but for now...
Only 6 months that's terrible! Hopefully you get your issues taken care of. Sucks you need to go a different route with a programmer.
I have mine mounted in the left pod. I've actually never used my a/c or actually even used the fan blower ever. Lol. I only drive it for pleasure use about 5...
How long have you had your ngauge? And do you use it full time? With your car being a 2020, if you've only had it 1-2 years that sucks! I'm a little concerned about mine as this isn't the first time hearing about them crapping out.
I have Stainless Power longtube headers, stock resonator, and Roush axle-back. Start up is loud for the first second. Cruising around isn't too loud. WOT is extremely loud !
