While I was cleaning my 2022 Mustang GT, I noticed something above my air filter. I guess I never realized it was there the whole time. Like another mini filter šŸ˜‚
Idk I’m just trying to clean my engine after the storms

That's a carbon filter that's meant to absorb gasoline vapors left in the intake when you shut off the engine. My advice is to permanently remove it. It can't be cleaned, may be spent depending on the miles on the car, and removing it will improve air flow to the engine. I removed mine very shortly after I bought my car new.
