New wheels for the 16 CO GT. Picked up a set of staggered American Racing Shelby SB203 wheels from American Muscle on Cyber Monday. 19x9.5 on front and 19x10.5 on back. Great look and good fit with the Nitto NT05R Drag Radials (305/35-19). Could not beat the deal...
Dropped mine off at the dealer this morning for the tick. It has been getting louder since I posted this video. All the service writers and techs were able to come out and hear it coming from underneath the car in the service drop-off area. We will see what they come up with for a diagnosis...
Mine started doing it (random idle/knock/tick) last week at just under 3400 miles. I cant here if it does it at low RPM/under light throttle when moving because of my loud as hell Roush exhaust, but the video shows what it does when is at operating temperature at idle. Will be pulling off the...
So I have been kicking this idea around since I bought the 18 GT A10 and still have not made up my mind. I wanted to ask what you would do if it were you in my place. I have been thinking about taking the 16 back to NA and moving the Procharger and other goodies over to the 18. My 16 GT is...
I kept my Competition Orange 16 GT Premium PP 6M and bought Orange Fury 18 GT PP Base with the A10.
Best of both worlds. The 16 has a Procharger, drag radials and 700 whp and is the fun car. The 18 has a tune and bolt-ons and is the driver, not to mention that my wife and daughter can drive...
Cleaned her up good after 18 Intake Install...
Installed a 2018 Intake recently and treated the car to it's annual oil/filter change. The washed, clayed and waxed. She is at 9150 miles now.
There is a small port on the back of the intake that goes to a similar small port on the front. This isolated and is only used to bring vacuum from the front of the intake to the imrc's in the back. if you lock out the IMRC's then you do not need to cap either end of this
Installed my 18 IM on my Procharged 16 GT Premium PP. Went with the MMR IMRC lock outs and had Brandon at Lund update my tune for the change. Really simple to plumb. Seems to pull a lot harder above 6300 rpm and have not seen any low end differences or driveability issues.
Great minds think alike. I ordered mine from Beefcake yesterday with the lockouts, and got the updated tune from Brandon @ Lund the same day. Should have it installed on the 16 by Saturday morning.
Hi Cobra Jet,
The clearance between the front splitter and the floor is exactly 6" with the Steeda Progressive springs. I have to use a 2x4 block as an intermediate step to get it up on ramps in the front, but I have the Steeda Jacking rails and usually just jack it up and put it on jackstands.
Unfortunately E85 is not an option on my side of Atlanta. There are no stations near my house with the closest being 20 miles. If there was E85 in my town, I would have gone that way. If it comes closer, I will probably do it. Just looking at the 18 mani while it is still a bargain.
Okay, car is a 2016 GT M6 with a stage 2 procharger on a mostly stock car. She made 634/515 at the wheels on 93 at 11 psi of boost. Since then I fixed a small issue with the SC belt tensioner and added a Mak performance inlet pipe. I would estimate the car is at 660 whp now.
I am...
