Steeda Steering Wheel trouble

I did have the heated Steering Wheel, but Steeda actually installed everything. My car was a serialized 2022 Steeda Mach 1. I have had no issues at all.

Buy the SINGLE tap and get quality rather than quantity..

Unless you're spending $20 each from McMaster Carr or similar, they all are the same. Except you could go even worse quality I guess if you buy a giant kit off of Amazon.

I got a small cheap kit at Lowe’s and was able to tap the threads. Steering wheel is on the car (got to test the open the door when you don’t have a battery hooked up). I will write a review of this but first drive not loving the feel of it. Only comfortable position seems to be 10 and 2. But I drive 9 and 3.

Look at it closer (and having unwrapped mine) I like yours better. Seems like the 9 and 3 is done the right way. I like the way the leather wraps at the top. I don't think I saw that one for sale.

They are not all the same, that is for sure M C & Granger contractor quality. Then there is MRC, Hanson tool, Vermont American, & Morse cutting tool, to namedrop a few.

Smart tool money is buying what you need, Sets are normally never fully used. easy 60% of a set just takes up space.

I am sorry to hear about your issue with the steering wheel. I have a different Steeda steering wheel for my 2022 Mach 1 and I absolutely love it and the craftmanship. You may want to look into something like this.

Love your wheel but just looking at your gearshift, did you add a short shift or is that stock?

Yes, this is an MGW gear shifter that Steeda added in the vehicle. The clutch is a Mantic clutch and the gear shaft is carbon fiber. My bill of materials for this car is here if you want to look at what this car has.

When I drive it is exactly at 12 O'clock. Not off centered at all.

I like that design with the perforated leather around the top grip area with CF inset. Who makes that one?
