Anyone else having front end squeaking after installing Steeda springs?

Mine started making noise several weeks ago with the lower temps. It's worse on cold mornings but it's never completely gone away even on warm days.

I had a reputable mechanic do a reinstall this weekend to made sure the seats were clocked correctly, the camber plates were correctly installed, and and everything was torqued to spec. They also lubricated the sway bar bushings. Unfortunately there was no change what so ever on my morning drive today.

It this a common issue with the Steeda Springs because the car sits lower and the struts are more compressed?

Not unsurprising. Did you check the spring insulators? Sometimes the spring eats through them, common problem on these cars. Could have happened with any spring.
I chased a creaking/clunk on my FRS after changing springs and i was sure it was the springs but yeah turned out it was the stupid plastic isolator.. definitely something to triple check

I appreciate that but I bought the car with the springs already on the car. Product 555-8242. I still have the box and the OE spring. I did add your camber plates however.

Which insulators are you referring too? Are you talking about where the spring seats at the top? Pictures would be great.

These are pictures the mechanic took this weekend. He said they were clocked wrong and there was some play on one side. But im pretty sure he said the isolators looked fine.

@zero_chance maybe you can speak better to what you found. You had some better pictures and I remember something else was damaged on one side.

Make sure that all the isolators are in place and in good condition. There should be two from the factory, one around the upper spring seat, and one attached to the strut lower spring seat.

Pay close attention to the spring coils for rubbing or contact with each other.

Some springs require wrap type spring coil isolators to prevent these types of noises. This may have been left off the springs during installation.

Thanks. Do you have a picture of the isolators?

This is the wrap isolator - other options are here: https://www.steeda.com/search-results-page?q=Isolators

I've got the sport progressive springs as well. I messaged you last year about those isolators that wrap around the coils (because the website had them pictured on the sport progressives, but my springs never came with any. When i sent you a pm, you told me that the technical guy at steeda said the sport progressive don't use them.) Which is it I'm wondering now? I haven't installed mine yet and after hearing this I wouldn't mind more confirmation if possible because I'll be paying a shop $$ to do this and want it right the first time. Thank you.

Thanks for that. Mine don't have them either. I was beginning to think that was the source of my issue, but that seem unlikely.
