Has anyone installed the Steeda Clutch Spring on their 21 Mach 1? Is it better, worse? same?

On my GT350 with the Tremec, the clutch spring was a night and day difference. It was a big improvement in feel.

IMO unless they changed the pedal assembly design, it should drop right in. For the low cost I think it's worth a try. It's not an earth shattering difference, but I think it makes the clutch a little easier to modulate.

I'm hoping to improve the feel of the bite point, the travel seems very long to the floor, and the bite point very high. Does this improve with the Steeda spring?

It doesn't change the bite point, it just changes the progression to it. Stock spring is very snappy once you get halfway up. Steeda spring feels more linear.

Wont change the bite point. Just you will feel it a little better. I have shorter legs so i installed a pedal extension so that makes it feel like it bites sooner. There are devices you can install in the engine bay that changes the pedal height so its a shorter overall movement. Ram clutches makes one.

Does it make it stiffer more difficult to press ?

Yes, but actually no. And what I mean by that is the difference in pedal effort is hardly noticeable. What is noticeable is how much nicer it is to release the pedal.
Ok 👍🏻 thanks 😊

I am not sure if this spring will work on the Mach 1. Steeds website says the following:

"Note: Will not fit 2019-2020 GT350. Clutch spring may be incompatible Ford Performance M-9452-M8 no-lift shift strategy."

The Mach 1 has no lift shift strategy built in, and also the same transmission configuration as the GT350. tj@steeda can maybe chime in?

Good point, the pedal assembly is likely different for the Tremec transmisisons. OP, can you just scoot under your dash and take a picture of the top of the clutch pedal?

I actually called Steeda today and asked about this. But they need to double check and let me know Monday

Chris says this Handling pack has the clutch spring installed. I am having Granger install it on my handling pack.
