I hadn't thought about this method, I don't hate it, is that camera wireless or did you have to run a wire to the cabin?

Another thing to worry about with tall curbs is opening the door and scraping (or worse) the shit out of the bottom.

YEP! some of the pics are the same in installation and overal how you use the system is identical.

Doesn't matter to me but is in theory cheaper at steeda.
If nothing else those instructions are WAAAAY better, but agreed the steeda version is "cheaper". If nothing else those instructions help me understand what's involved to get this up and running if I went this route.

Yea hadn't thought about that... I already tell every passenger, every time they exit, "the doors open wide, be very careful getting out". Waiting for someone to slam a door into another car or worse.

This is a part that was spec'd by our internal team to offer it through Steeda, this is what I can provide:

Both cameras will work, but you will have to unplug the backup camera RCA connector and connect it to the module to have the functionality of both cameras. The module allows you to switch between the two cameras. There is a modified harness included in the kit that will be used. The harness has all of the connections labeled.

I have highlighted the rear camera connections in green and the front camera connections in blue.

Bro all this? Just back in park everywhere. Remember safety first!
In theory this can work, but there are a lot of situations where it doesn't, just recently parked in a parking garage with diaganal directional parking lines, I can't back in.

Thanks for the clarification and chiming in. Frankly the instlall seems pretty straight forward, although I find the instructions a bit messy.

The car is short & fits in the parking space without the need to bump the tire stop.

Some judgement on a driver's part is an easy fix, takes some thinking.

Depending on technology to solve every problem is a dead end Common sense, use it or lose it, it is not that hard.

I agree somewhat, however, technology is a tool and you should use the right tool for the job. Yes I can use a pair of players to remove a nut from the bolt, but a properly sized wrench will make the task much easier with much less damage to the fastener.

Being fully dependent on something can be bad, but I'm not gonna walk out to the well house and pull up pails of water when it can be pumped to me.

There is nothing wrong with embracing technology that can make your life easier or more convenient.

That’s what I do just back in too.
With the limited turning radius on my Mach 1 and my huge lip I don't hesitate to back in everywhere away from other careless drivers. lol But this would be an nice option to have I guess as long as it comes on easy.

I am interested in this also. Yes, $400, but I have spent a lot more on less, plus cheaper than a new chin spoiler. The instructions are pretty lousy, could for sure use some work. Maybe someone needs to do an install video, and maybe offer a little discount to boot. Hint, hint Steeda! lol

I do back in most of the time, but as mentioned, not always possible, or just a pain to get swung around in a busy lot. Sure, you can stop short, but I would rather pull as far forward in that parking spot as possible to keep the rear from hanging out. Guess I am just used to the 360 camera on my wife's Nissan, it is pretty handy.
