Confirmed that cutting the white wire switched the camera perspective and didn't mess up anything else. Definitely looks better with the proper left/right orientation. That was going to drive me nuts. Thanks for the tip on the camera wire! At least I won't have to tear the dash apart again. It is probably in the instructions and I just missed it. Again, hope you get yours worked out unless they just sent you a bad control unit.
I was out in the garage at 10:30 last night pulling up the air box again. Getting really good at it and only takes me a couple of minutes. The Steeda video shows them manhandling the box up with the air inlet to the throttle body still in place. It literally takes a screwdriver to loosen the clamp and popping off a couple of fittings by hand to remove the inlet and makes it sooooooo much easier to remove and reinstall the air box without damaging anything.
I will say that the instructions provided with the camera kit leave a lot to be desired. Since the kit is designed to cover a variety of applications, it really doesn't give a lot of specific information for any one application. The video from Steeda helped a lot, but it came up short in a number of areas. One big one that wasn't a problem for me is they showed an installation on an automatic car that has an easy to access unused plug in the firewall. The customer video on Steeda talks about how they installed a kit on a manual trans car where they had to find a different access point for the wiring since the clutch uses the plug that the automatic cars leave available.
Still not a terribly hard install and a pricy but very useful mod.
