Parking Lights

Does anyone know if these lights in front of the car (orange lights) can be turned off? Is it me or is it the ugliest part of the car? I'm going to tint mine.

I was really hoping they would be LED lights in those spots. They aren't the DRL so I would assume they can be turned off. I do know I will be installing a set of LED switch backs in them
