I've been sort of curious about this product....maybe not $1500 curious though. The DSC Sports version is not locked where the Steeda version is. If you are adept at tuning/tinkering with things then I would go with the DSC un-locked version. If you're like me🤪, I would go with the Steeda version. However you would need to be really into racing or just need something to buy for the heck of it to justify this kind of outlay of moola.

The one area that this product would address (and as seen in the S650 videos Ford has taken care of) is the ability to combine the suspension set-up of your choice Irregardless of "Mode" setting.

How very Steeda of them. The DSC has positives and negatives. One of the big, big positives is its adjustability. Taking that away makes the DSC much less attractive, IMO.

True but they said they had hundreds of hours tuning at the track.

Personally, I wouldn't mind the fact that it is locked but for the same price I can get an un-locked unit. It would be underwhelming to have the locked version and need to make some tweaks for personal preference yet not be able to.

If this gizmo was about a grand.....maybe. But at $1500 I don't need it.

Yeah because no company ever embellished on marketing claims when selling a product

For $1500 alone it's a damn tough pill to swallow. It better do more than just firm up your ride.

Given the OP already has some calibration on it, makes it even less worth it.

Question is whether locked means you can't adjust their calibration but can erase it and upload / create your own if you want to, or whether it's basically counterpart of Ford VDM you can't do anything with other than install or uninstall it. If it's the latter, don't understand why would anyone buy this.

Steeda makes decent products but they also often market them with super vague terms like "improves performance".

I'm sure someone could jailbreak it. 👀 But the description only says it's locked. Here's their Youtube vid

$800 locked would be attractive. There's no way there's more than a few hundred worth of electronics in the box.

Plus as we know from Ford styling department, time spent does not equal results. 😄

I would hope it's a home run but me and steeda don't see eye to eye on good suspension where it concerns their traditional dampers so ...
