Hopefully my February build car still has it. Looks like Steeda needs to add some nuts and washers with the kit. I only hope it's as effective that away as it was with threads in the frame.
We'll absolutely provide nuts and washers with these kits! Thanks for your input.

Solution?

David@Steeda
Instead of starting a new thread I'll bump this one.

I too am having problems installing the front driver side hex bolt. My issue is alignment like OP's picture. I have tried everything from prying to trying to install that bolt first, nothing worked.

Has anyone come up with a solution?

This is on a 16 GT so I know the pre-threaded chassis it not present. I can get the other three bolts in perfectly.

Couldn't get my passenger side to line up even with the alignment kit so I sent it back.

We have been including the spacer and nut in these kits since 9/11/15. If you purchased a kit that didn't have one, it was most likely old stock from a vendor. Feel free to give our sales team a call to coordinate the spacer and nut being sent out.

I've got the spacers and nuts, it is an alignment issue. I purchased it from Steeda. Not sure if the hole in the frame is off or the mounting bracket is bent (doesn't look bent).

Did you try to pry it over? All bolts should remain loose until all of them have threads started. Another tip is, if one bolt is being difficult, remove all the others and start that one first and then put the others in.

Tried all that :(

I might try again in a few days. My alternative plan is when I have my car lowered (Will be going to Steeda for this) I'll have the brace installed. That will be in a few months though while I save up my car mod budget.

Keep me updated, here to assist, I'm confident you'll be able to get it mounted up as we've been selling thousands of these :)

Gave it another go today. This time I was determined to get the front driver side in first no matter what. When I got that in the front passenger side was misaligned. But it was much easier to pry the passenger side into place. SUCCESS!

Took it for a test drive and immediate improvement! She feels so good going into turns, stiffer, but better.

Awesome product!

Thanks Steeda!

Am I the only person that had issues with factory frame flashing/knockouts not allowing the spacers to slip in easily?

When I was doing mine I didn't futz around those and just omitted the spacer with no apparent impact, on, anything. So Far.

I had this issue on my early build v6, i just muscled it in place with no apparent negitive result. the brace looked a bit bent to me but not bad enough to send it back. i may call steeda to verify that its okay to muscle it in place though as i dont want the brace to break...or anything else for that matter. As of now the car feelt tighter and flatter in spirited turns and bumpy roads!!
