Hi everyone,

We are excited to announce our Steeda Extreme G-Trac Brace for the S550 Mustang is now available! This part fits the GT, EcoBoost and V6 models.

Our Extreme G-Trac Brace is a direct bolt-on and provides greatly improved front chassis bracing. This brace mounts close to the control arm mounts, and helps strengthen the connection between the control arm mounts and the rear of the sub-frame. This makes the load path more direct and gives much more effective stiffening, so the suspension geometry doesn't change during high cornering/chassis loads.

The Steeda Extreme G-Trac Brace is manufactured from super strong chrome moly, alloy steel tubing, making it over twice as strong as any mild steel offering. All necessary installation hardware is included and this is a direct bolt-on upgrade which provides improved suspension compliance while stiffening the sub-frame.

Here’s a quick installation video:

Here is a direct link to the part on our site: http://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-extreme-g-trac-brace-2015-555-5532/

Anyone who’s ran our 79-04 or 05-14 G-Trace Brace can attest to how well the part performs. This is our 4-point brace and we will also be releasing a 2-point brace.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out!

Thanks,
David

Very nice part. Never installed or used one of these in the past.

Does it give a noticeable difference in the front-end with regards to feel and cornering?

Can't respond
I'll volunteer to test it with stainless works 1 7/8" headers. I'll pay full price

Edit. American Racing Headers 1 7/8"

They wanted my money. Stainless works did not in a reasonably timely fashion

Looks similar in concept to the Alu Kreuz I had on my Audi S4. If this performs in a similar fashion, steering will be more direct when tracking. Any sway motion at straightline high speeds (e.g. 80 mph on hwy) will be eliminated.

How's the ground clearance on a car with your springs? ;)

It really does, drove it before and after and the car felt a lot tighter and more confident when cornering.
Did the car have your springs and sway bars already? Or stock?
