I retired at 57 so it was my wife's gift to me.
I test drove a 15 GT and I was hooked, had to have it so I ordered it right then!
I get a lot of thumbs up from both men and woman!
I see that you are in Oregon.
I had Johnson Engine service in Salem install my headers.
Not cheap but done right!
They had told me they have done a whipple and other super charger installs before.
Personally if I was going to put a twin turbo kit on i would ship the car to Boost Works in Katy...
6r80 with 3.15 gears.
I do have long tube headers and a Lund tune. :D
And by the way I have calibrated the mpg with actual mileage using the engineering mode.
Got rid of the crap Pirelli tires after 2k miles.
Had Conti extreme contact, really mushy in the corners, got rid of them after 1k miles.
I now have the Michelin MPSS, excellent tire all around for me but I don't drive in bad winter weather.
Just drove back from southern CALIFORNIA to OR so a 1k miles trip.
Had the cruise set for 84 mph most of the way with some very spirited acceleration to get around asses in the left lane. 22.1 mpg average
On the way down at mostly the speed limit, 24.3 mpg
I went with Kooks with cats and Lund tune.
It cost me $1000 for the install from a speed shop and in 3 years no problems.
The car is impressive!
Maryland Speed had the best price at the time.
Kooks from Maryland Speed, better price than the other vendors on here when I bought mine.
The pro shop that installed mine said that kooks was one of only headers that doesn't always require tweeking.
My raddle was the right exhaust tube hitting the sway bar.
I do have headers and had to cut the right side a 1/4 inch and all is now perfect.
The raddle drove me crazy, it was most noticeable when when warmed up.:frusty:
