I had this issue on my early build v6, i just muscled it in place with no apparent negitive result. the brace looked a bit bent to me but not bad enough to send it back. i may call steeda to verify that its okay to muscle it in place though as i dont want the brace to break...or anything else for that matter. As of now the car feelt tighter and flatter in spirited turns and bumpy roads!!
You are fine - no issues based on feedback from our techs.

Can't wait to get mine. Next mods is this, clutch line, transmission bushing. Being in a budget sucks. So much I want. Thanks for posting.

Am I the only person that had issues with factory frame flashing/knockouts not allowing the spacers to slip in easily?
Nope! I know this is an old thread, but just tried to install my G-Trac and the frame knockouts/flashing won't allow the spacers to be fed into position.

How do you fix this? What did you end up doing?

i used a screwdriver and a hammer to break of the knockouts
Thank you very much. This thing took longer to install than I would expect. Ran into several issues and had to run to the hardware store because it wasn't shipped with all the hardware. Hope this thing is worth it.

Appreciate the assistance ForTehNguyen.

I tried installing mine yesterday and had the exact same alignment issue with the driver side front. It's about 1/2" off. Those slide in spacers for the rear required me to take a prybar and open it up inside some for them to slide in. They were probably slightly crushed from Ford or when my headers were installed and they dropped that same subframe. Gonna put mine on a lift Saturday and try again. It's definitely the bar, hopefully I can coax it to go in place.

Hello,

I apologize for the inconvenience of not having the hardware, did you order directly through Steeda or one of our distributors?

I am positive you will find it is worth it ... a little longer than expected on the install but would love to hear your feedback once it is installed.

Best Regards,

TJ

You can give us a call prior to Saturday & we can have one of the installers provide some troubleshooting tips.

You can reach us at 1800 950 0774.

It's pretty much a tight fit to get the spacers in the little holes you need to pry over with a big screwdriver and to align all bolts and you need to keep them all loose and use some muscle to get the last one in I think I did the two rear first than the passenger side side front and pry over the driver side front. It's not an exact fit without some muscle work I'd assume because it's tightening up the front end but once it's all bolted down and ready to go the car feels away more solid Up Front especially going up and out of driveways definitely worth it. Just put some elbow grease into it and you will get it on. if you get flustered take a break but it will fit trust me I had the same issue but after I realized what I had to do it wasn't that hard.

I brought mine to work and put it on a drive on lift. I was able to get the left front in using a prybar between it and the subframe in the hole. I appears the angle of the vertical tube that the bolt goes through is the wrong angle. That or the tubing needs to be slightly longer if I remember correctly. The other side was touching the subframe once I tightened them all up. Nothing I did helped move it away from touching. I haven't really heard any noise yet.
