Yeh I am thinking about that, shop says the PP1 shocks are shit, ive heard the same here, so does it make sense at 47K to replace the shocks and struts only (Steeda), If im in the wrong thread for this let me know.
A quality shock will make more difference in how the car feels than almost any other change. I would go that route before you lower anything.

BTW I was referring to 47K meaning miles on the car...duh...sorry

Looking like I’ll go Pro Action Non Adjustable with the Minimum drop springs. Pretty basic but will work well for me.

I have the Ford track shocks and dampers with the Steeda minimum drop springs. Absolutely love this combo. Everything about the ride is better. The PP1 struts were nothing special but the rear dampers were indeed dog shit. Completely inadequate damping for the car. Bilstein will also give excellent results.

Do you feel like the Minimum drop springs went lower than 1/2 an inch ?

I got what I bought. Lowered exactly 1/2" no more.
If you plan on adding a supercharger at some point in the future, then you would drop a little more.

Here's what my PP1 looks like. Before and after:

Looks good, thank for the intel! No engine mods for me, just not really needed. I got another expensive hobby already LOL.

Bilstein and FP Track are better.

Does anyone have the spring rates for an EcoBoost?

Well I did the minimum drop steeda springs and pro action dampers. car definitely handles better, I think it rides better also than the PP1 setup. I Cant really see the difference in these photos. I measured before and after so it’s 1/2 inch for sure. Im not sure but feel like maybe a little more noise from the rear…maybe. So far I like It. Top is before, not really fair pictures.

I received my FP dampers today and my Steeda min drop springs should be here next week. I’m excited to tear into this project. Have never lowered anything but raised a few 4wd trucks.

I just searched Roush in this thread and did not find anything on their springs
I like their range for the Roush Magneride lowering springs,
  • Front spring rate range: 214 lbf/in - 248 lbf/in
  • Rear spring rate range: 494 lbf/in - 934 lbf/in
It doesn't specify if this is progressive or dual rate, I sent the question to Roush.
I don't see many (any) S550 owners using this spring. Any thoughts on why?

Down side is they lower 30mm, not sure I want to go that low.

I live in an area where I can't really go much lower than .75"s. I have been told the Steeda .5" minimum drop tightens up the car and doesn't drop it to much.. Any advise? I am looking for a spring that won't go lower than that and handle at least as well as the Performance Pack springs my 17 GT come with? I want better handling but at the same time I want it to hook better in the rear too.. ?? Thanks for any help..

That looks to be just what I want.. I don't care for the slammed look but also hate that gap.. Plus I want the car to handle better too.. I have a 17 PP1 and I ahve been putting this off for way to long.. How do they handle and hook??

The handling and hooking up is vastly improved… like it’s not even the same car. It actually feels like it’s gets the power so much better. It’s firmer but all the wallowing around crap is gone.
