Soler 85mm throttle body

I agree wish more messed with it that’s why I was curious every time I’ve seen when it comes to tuning there’s a issue with them for whatever reason especially with the 87mm unless your car came form the factory with that throttle body like the bullit or Mach. don’t quite understand that one but I have hope for this 85mm lol. I also laugh cause my buddy is doing his c8 threw on a soler that’s 95 or 100 something with a ported manifold on there way bigger than his stocker and it’s all simple and easy no issues ha ha

I run a C&L 90mm with the same tune I ran with my stock 80mm. Works fine for me. I also have a BrettBarber ported GT350 that i used to run on my GT350 manifold setup that was tuned by Oz without issue.

Maybe a couple at best by itself, but probably a few more when paired with other supporting mods like, a CAI, LTHs, x or h-pipe, an axle back and a tune.

Are you going to install everything but the tb, then tune and dyno, to see where you’re at on power and then add the tb and make a couple more pulls on the dyno, to see what the tb adds to the party?

The tb can be easily swapped out in 10 minutes, while still on the dyno.

It’s not about raw HP gains.
It’s about the motor getting to the redline in less time. This can be accomplished without added HP.

@NGOT8R i may ba able to do something like that I had the same feeling that it’ll make more with supporting mods especially with the 22 choked up intake. I’m trying to manifold and throttle install myself I’m gonna let him mess with the headers when we do the tune but I’m gonna keep stock throttle body so might be able to swap it on when we dyno. I’ll have the mani today and Mabye the throttle by Friday so might get some testing in see if it improves any times and face a couple buddies cars I’ve ran against already

I'm very interested in your results & take on that throttle body & intake. Will be patiently awaiting your results.

The throttle body arrived looks real nice packaged well still waiting on manifold and headers but the parts are stacking up sadly I found one of my what I think is a vct solenoid sensor leaking so gotta get that handled before I start adding all these
