That being said a 305 tire in the front should clear just fine then right?
the H2O is a *very* wide 305, so i can't imagine anything else being an issue. that said, what tire are you looking at specifically? there aren't a lot of options in a 305/30R18 size that i'm aware of, other than the H2O and V710..

with this setup, yes and yes. can't speak to others, although i've heard that jadrice test fit an 18x10.5/315 A6 setup without issue; unsure if he had to use a spacer up front or not though (it'd be a very small one if so, 5mm or less).
So to be clear, when you say "with this setup" you are meaning with MCS coilovers and camber plates? So these will not bolt right on with stock PP suspension?

I'd like to run these wheels with Nitto NT01 305/35ZR18, for HPDE and open track.

Thanks

i test fitted successfully with a stock setup (no camber bolts). i don't have my MCS coilovers and vorshlag plates in hand yet, but i'm not expecting any issues, especially since they are confirmed to work with 18x11/315 (which i also have). not sure if the extra height of a 35 series tire will cause a problem for you; i'll be sure to confirm and post up when i get a chance to fit everything next week, and give you some pics and an opinion on fitting that tire.

started yanking some of that spongy rubber out last night..

if you don't have a lift or a large transmission jack, i highly recommend that you phone a friend to help. i didn't get the rear end on a scale but damn, it's beefy/heavy! buttoning everything back up today and finally putting my hitch on so i can start towing again.

have the PP, yes.. but already had everything buttoned up by the time i saw your post :(

it's a mix of bearings and rubber throughout - LCA, UCA, integral link, toe link. i replaced the cradle and diff bushings, which are very soft rubber and lots of voids, with delrin. not as easy a task that i'd expected in retrospect, but i can already feel the difference in street driving - a mid-speed corner (40mph) i regularly take that my rear end used to step out on necessitating more throttle and countersteer is now a planted experience. assuming my shocks get here this week, i'll have a chance to turn my car in anger with a close-to-prepped setup for the first time next weekend. can't wait, fingers crossed!

Edit to add: Ford has the offset and backside spacing info here: http://fordperformanceracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=25186

Regarding using the Fordracingparts.com wheel specs for backside spacing information. Their "front page" specs conflict with the individual page specs. Based on my measurements I believe the individual pages are correct.

I measured my oem gloss black GT PP wheels last night to try to sort this out.

It appears that either the silver and matte black versions of the Ford wheels have different backside spacing than the gloss black oem wheels OR there are differences between Ford's measuring locations and mine (I was pretty careful to measure accurately :) ).

Front: Ford specs - 172 mm My measurement - 174.5 mm

Rear: Ford specs - 186 mm My measurement - 190 mm

All specs I've seen consistently state that the GT PP offsets are:

Front: 45 mm
Rear: 52.5 mm

On a different subject for you guys that would like to do the ESP type mods but don't want to use Hoosiers and would like a competitive Street Touring class.

SCCA appears to be seriously considering a Pony car specific Street Touring class. The initial proposed rules did not include 2015 Mustangs or 2016 Camaros but the stated intent is to add them soon. There is already pressure to add them at the beginning of the class since the extra width and weight will tend to cancel the other advantages. Also pressure to eliminate the stick vs irs wheel width and tire size limitations. Note that Bridgestone has 285/35x19 RE-71Rs on their way to the US.

Details in the July issue of Fastrack.

If I remember right the offsets and width are stamped right inside the wheels on the backside of one of the spokes. I'm pretty sure I saw that the other day but don't have the wheels handy to confirm.

18x10.5/335 ;)

They fit with with the same spacer I've been using on the boss 302. The rear didn't require a spacer, but the front needed one to not rub on the struts.

WAT! you do realize you're not in BS and constrained by wheel width any longer, right? :p

i was tempted to try 335 on the 18x11s i have, but decided to wait and get a proper 18x12 and fender setup in the offseason instead. looks like i'm going to be the heaviest car on the narrowest contact patch this year in lincoln :(

Well, I'll definitely be going to ESP next year with no tears. Put Naranja into a wall at a local event and tweked most of what I'd be modifying anyway to fit tires.

Outside chance you might see me at Nats tire warming in F street in a 1LE.

Nice.

It appears that KW has their V2 and V3's listed on their site now for '15 mustang, and the Roush Coilovers are showing up now.

I wonder if the Roush are rebranded KW ? or Eibach R2's ?

That's a bit more in my price range. There are thoughts of a budget SM build running around in my head now though.

It looks like for now, my first Nationals will be in an S197 tirewarming for Eric Yee in F-Street.

What does anyone think about the STP proposal ? I'm going to guess that they will add the 15' to it eventually.

LOL In an email from Phil Castro @KW Dated May28th .

I wrote: Do you plan or are you working on a coil-over kit for the 2015 Mustang?

Phil Wrote: At this time no we do not.
We do have some things in the works and we hope to have a release here soon. But as of now we do not have anything available for your application.

An F-ing Month and that's the answer you give out...and I find out from tire rack. Way to follow up.

so true rear coil overs are not a big thing on Mustangs....
