I am getting use to driving on the Hoosiers now. I was able to win ESP at the DC Pro. I was top qualifier with the 2.3 second win.

Eric did you shift to 3rd on the left course straight? With my FS rev limit of 6800 my best runs Saturday were on the limiter for just under 2 seconds (58 mph).

I went to third on my 1st run on Sunday,.....then when I came back around I saw a slow time on the clock so I didn't do it again.

I found out later that I actually ran a 29.3 on cold tires, plus looking at the data I hit 71.6 mph instead of 64.8 on the limiter forever.

I figured that would use it in the challenge rounds if I needed time, but after coming in a second ahead of Snyder in his SSR vette I found out that I hit a cone :frusty:

I installed my hitch on the car tonight.......I hate adding weight to the car, but at least it's at the right end.

How long did it take to install? What trailer are you using? Thinking about doing the same.
It was a pain in the ass.....even with a lift it took me about an hour. I bought a Curt hitch.

I am actually thinking about trying a cargo carrier for the tires.

Figured one fits in the trunk really good, so I will put the other 3 on the carrier.

I will let you know how it works out.

Please do. I've been hauling all 4 of my wheels and tires in the car, but I'd rather not. I have a truck and enclosed trailer, but I'd rather not use it unless I have to for cost and simplicity sake.

Do you think that hitch would be fine with just the 4 bolts that hang straight down instead of all 8 when towing a small HF trailer?

My gf and I put one of those trailers together and a hitch on her XV Crosstrek. The hitch for that only has 4 bolts and I can't imagine the little HF trailer ever coming close to the max tongue weight. The idea was to also use the trailer with my Mustang when we go to Nats later this year.
