This is the info thePill has been waiting for. This is the GT500's engine... it WILL NOT come with an automatic but, ya' never know.


Ford just announced that the Ford GT's TT3.5 will be replaced with a similar V8 version for Le Mans.

It will be around 800hp.

Its April Fool news cant trust it. Ford announced TT 3.5 last year and GT is not in production yet, and this news come out. Smell fishy

The gt was literally built around the v6 like seran wrap.

If any chances on GT it would be a few years from now hope its 4.0 v6 TT, LeMans allow 4.0 motor don't know why Ford doesn't maximise the size of GT v6 TT engine.

A Roland 808 kick drum in the trunk, or just junk LOL? It does need to be 800+ IMO regardless of cylinder count. April fools or not.

It's funny how Hot Rod trolls this very Mustang v. Camaro topic. I think they had one for the Chevy guys too.

Just heard its confirmed for 2018 and its either a 5.4/8L super charged like the last gt500 but making 790hp

or

a 5.0 twin turbo making ~720hp both direct injected.

also a 2018 mach 1 with the 5.2L

Just what I heard from a knowledgeable source

I would love the 5.8 DOHC TT based of the 6.2 block using CGI as block material.

Yeah. I want a metal engine block. None of the computer generated imagery stuff. Leave that for Forza and Need for Speed.
