Congrats on the farm house. Sounds like a lot of work, but a lot of fun! I hope they get your rig sorted shortly. I would lose my mind! The directions are super easy, right off the 101, let me know if you get a chance to come up and I will give you the details or meet you and we can bomb out there--it is a great drive as well as a good place to stop and get some shots! Thanks man. Exactly...a lot of work but definitely fun. My car has been at the dealer since last Thursday and I'm going nuts!! Now they get the parts yesterday, install them today and say they are getting an "internal fault code". WTF?! They have no idea why, and called Ford Tech to get some advice. Hadn't heard back from Ford when I checked with them at 5:00. They think they may have received bad parts and will have to order again. I'm thinking if the new parts are bad, wouldn't it just throw the same codes as before, not something new? This is beyond frustrating at this point. I'm going through withdrawals.:frusty::frusty: WHEN I get it back, I'm down for a road trip. Thanks again for the info. I'll keep you posted on mine, meanwhile, enjoy yours. That is one sweet ride you have there my friend!

I appreciate that. I used to work there for 4 yrs back in 96-99, and have bought 4 cars from them. Never had a problem with any of them so I didn't have to deal with service. This really sucks. Thanks again!

Just wanted to let you know that I finally pulled the trigger in October and purchased a 2016 DIB GT. Was still looking for the Ruby Red, but could not find a good fit for price and options. DIB was my second choice and they had it with the Dark Saddle interior which I have loved since the first time I saw it in the Ford brochure. So far I am loving the car! unfortunately I am going to be storing it for the winter, but will start a project thread and start planning all of the mods I want to do in spring....My son who is almost 16 wants to attend school in california, so we talked about a route 66 cross country road trip, so maybe that will happen in the near future!

Thanks! I have been waiting a very very long time to do this....lots of other priorities for many years, but finally its here. Can't wait to do some mods and improve on an already great platform!

Coming in 17!!!

No, its not a blower or air bags or a set of flares lol (which are all cool), but it is the completion of phase 2 of my GT build. The side window scoops, the spoiler, and the roush rear diffuser will all be sanded and painted gloss black. The quad tips are at the ceramic coater right now having a 15% gloss black ceramic finish applied. It is going to look smooth and straight nasty when I am done. Phase 3 starts with the cold air induction kit and we'll go from there. Stay tuned for parts pics and finished install pics!
