P.S. Anyone else think the S650 looks like a S550 and a Camaro had a baby?

Or it looks like what happens if a Honda Accord has a head on collision with a TRX.

Europe auto business is significantly more regulated that USA but have a wide selection avail.

Sadly. we block all competition from Euros and CN as protectionist measures forcing consumers into poor quality mediocre design low choice offerings at inflated prices ...kinda like Soviet Union on steroids thanks to ample easy credit.

Just open up the market and consumers will have so much choice.
Yes, they are heavily regulated, but the regs are different than here. In the US, cars have much more strict fuel economy standards than light trucks and SUVs.

And pollution standards where pick ups get a hard pass on pollution limits so mfgs stopped making cars now SUV and pickups are more polluting than cars the regulated out of existence.

Know that the annual tax on a GT mustang in UK is in the many thousands and in the thousands elsewhere in EU where it's pegged to

Fair trade and reciprocity should iron out all the protectionism that forces N. Americans into crappy cars unless you have $100K plus on hand by encouraging global leaders to produce locally.

I've been in several Camaros and all of their interiors were way more premium feeling than any Ford i've been in.
Interesting....I've been checking out top trim Colorado and Canyon besides the great Buick interior design and outstanding UI the flat cheap seats and hard plastics are a turn off....feels like 1990 Tercel with glue on upholstery kit and aftermarket high end HU. Not to mention the lack of active magnetic shocks.....hard pass.

Even the new $140K EV Escalade has cheap set architecture, near zero bolstering.

All the American brand interiors are cheap.

I'm getting my premium car new upholstery on seats, centre console and armrest, and door card inserts in next week's. When I do the windshield I'll get the surrounding trim and visors done in Alacantara.

lol I own a 2024 ZR2 Byson, and the interior is head and shoulders above the Ford Maverick it's counterpart in the Ford mid size truck. Sounds like you should be spending the money you're wasting on changing your premiums interior on a new BMW and calling it good...

I do love the Buick inspired lux interior in Canyon and Colorados that are duplicated in nearly all sub 100K GM cars. Infotainment is amazing instantly reactive. Nothing come close. All the seats suck near zero bolstering which makes sense given the BMI of 80% buyers .

ZR2 Bose door panel was vibrating at 50%. Exterior looks are great on all of them Colorados are a stand out though.

The Multimatic shocks were a wasted opportunity when could have gone fully active to better manage the high centre of gravity and variable terrain.and on road driving.

Not impressive otherwise and I'm not gonna go off road in these pigs when my KTM will cover the same terrain and more at ten times the speed with no damage and more fun. No one with half a brain will desert run a speed without full roll cage and interior foam inserts every where a long with body armor, neck brace and helmet.

Just watching the youtube videos of them creeping over rocks and rock gardens looks so boring.

Colorado and Canyon look way better than Ford Maverick and Ranger overall especially their 1980 like Nissan quality and finishing.

Need to find a way to retrofit new seat foams and covers to any of them.

I want to buy on looks and interior design alone but seats are killing it, especially at those price points.

I agree Camaros are more premium feeling.

The steering wheel leather does feel more like actual leather in the Camaro. Same with the other soft surfaces.

I like the interior design better in the Ford, but the materials used are pretty low quality.

I agree. I paid 600 to have my heated wheel redone in Italian NAPA with side perforations and next week will get Katzkin installed along with seat center tek electrostitch color matched on new custom console upholstery and door card inserts.

When the new windshield is installed in May the I'll get A Pillar and header trim done in black Alacantara, black or color match vinyl.

It’s official. The last 6 Gen Camaro rolled off the line

Don’t worry they’ll be back in 2027 claiming to have a 70th anniversary edition…..

I owned a 2023 GMC Canyon Denali. Ordered it n April of 23' and took delivery in early July.
Look, I'm a function over form kinda guy at almost every turn, but that Canyon Denali was a total POS. I had come from a 2015 GMC Canyon SLT(highest level trim in 15') and I was so disappointed with the Denali AFTER driving my premium package / Pony package 20' EB company car for a couple of weeks the shortcomings became painfully clear.

Fancy looking at initial casual glance but badly designed, cheaply executed. The door panels in the front seats have a peice of teak trim on them, the rear doors do not.

The 13' infotainment screen would glitch all the time. The Bluetooth would freeze constantly, the gauge screen had crap contrast. Metallic trims around d the gauge cluster would constantly reflect sun into your eyes or at night would reflect street lights onto the interior of the windshield.

The leather felt synthetic. The door panels were made of a hard plastic that would scratch if you just looked at it wrong.

Also, the 2.7l turbo motor would drink 1.5-1.75 quarts of oil every 5k miles.

The Wentzville plant where they build these trucks has been known for bad paint and this truck was no exception. Every body panel had some kind of clearly visible paint flaw, as did my 2105 truck.

I traded the truck (and I always keep my vehicles 5-8 years) after 15 months for my 21' GT/CS Vert' and I'm quite glad that I did. I used to be a GM/Chevy guy for my entire life. Not anymore.

Owning a GT convertible and saying the paint is bad on that truck is laughable when the mustang line up has notoriously been abysmal from day one.

The black paint on my 2020 is better than $180K Mercedes nearly glass smooth everywhere....now has full PPF.

An associate has 2023 Canyon AT4 and no issues seems like it hit and miss.

Benz’ are notorious for terrible orange peel, so I’m not surprised.

It's better than most $280K cars and on par with Aston Martins and RR....I'm actually shocked how smooth it is. I PPF the whole car.
