I love how you "think" the Camaro "mops the floor" really? Where in a magazine? Go to Norwalk and watch some of the new camaros get beat by a bone stock 2016 GT A6. You gotta know how to drive before you can win and run your mouth. (I don't mean your mouth)
How often have you seen a stock S550 walk a stock SS, A6 to A8? If that's the case, the SS driver doesn't know how to drive, and the S550 driver has many more passes under their belt.
You've mentioned in numerous threads that you are 100% brand loyal. That's a shame as you really miss out on some cool cars, and variety is the spice of life:headbang:

It's no shame for me. I have no interest in a GM OR DODGE. I'm 45 and for the last 30 years I've been happy with my brand loyalty. Sorry my choices don't please you.
Now when it comes to bikes, I like them British. I have a Norton, triumph, and trying to get my hands on a Matchless.

Equal drivers, the Camaro is half second quicker in the 1/4. Most people can live with that though.

With a simple power pack 3 not sure about that. The mustang with the pp3 is still less money then the SS with the same options.

Although from what I hear, the dealerships are swinging some pretty hefty deals to get them in your driveway. I'm not hatin' on GM or the Camaro, here. I owned more GM cars than I did Fords, and I hang with more GM guys than Ford guys.
The deals they were pushing to get 2016s off the lots were nuts. I test drove a brand new, loaded 2SS that had been marked down $9k, and the salesman was going too slash another $2k off because I drove a Mustang. It was the same price I paid for my Base GT. I walked though, because the car would have been my everything car, daily and track, and the Camaro didn't feel like it'd make a good daily driver. Not like the Mustang.

But what happens with the camaro gets a refresh and is still making more power than a pp3 car? I love both cars. Im not a fanboy of either one. Im more of an import guy myself. When i was shopping around i went and test drove both the camaro and the mustang and the camaro is def faster and it felt really planted. Its also proven better at the track then the mustang stock for stock. Theres no debating that. The camaro is a track beast from the factory. The mustang is more refined though. You get good performance and driveability comforts on the streets and still hold its own at the track. With the camaro you sacrafice comfort for a straight track ready car from the factory. After i drove both i decided on the mustang PP. It looks better and is all around a better car for me and what i wanted it for. Now if i were looking for a track car id probably consider a Camaro.

Obviously the gt350 shits on the zl1, but if were talking run of the mill camaros and mustangs the camaro beats the mustang every time at the track

Do the challengers still come with a hard drive you can upload music into? And although I don't need the interior room, nothing beats the interior room on the challys.
I don't believe there is a HD in my challenger. Honestly I just use Sirius and FM. Pretty content with the basics

To the op; 9 mpg?
You must be hammering it fromstop light to stop light.
I average 14 in the city in mine; A8 set in track mode, and I drive semi aggressively.
I try to be tame but having a 6 speed I tend to cruise between 3 to 4k rpms. I like being in a lower gear cause u just never know when you need to punch it lol. Plus the exhaust is entoxicating at a higher rpm

Calling out OKC #1 spot after axle back install.
Camaro is a POS? Um, OK. For the 99% of the people that buy a new car and don't want to void their warranty, the SS will mop the floor with any sub GT350 Mustang in handling or acceleration. Some of this Mustang fanboism is just getting old.
The SS will mop the floor with 99% of the GT350s out there. Bad drivers and overprotective owners plague the gt350.

What's getting old is this a Mustang form there's to many c6g a**holes here creaming all over themselves trying to convince everyone junkmaro is a super car. I hope MY 18 Mustang puts the nail in camaros coffin and greedy motors kills it again.
Never going to happen....keep dreaming/hoping.
These car updates only help each other out. Each company helps the other one get more creative.

We used to constantly have some kind of Ford vehicle...until the Focus with the computerized clutch in the auto transmission. From day one; hesitation, stalling out intermittently. It hesitated shifting when we were test driving it but the dealer assured us it was because the car was new and that the computer had to "learn" each of our driving styles. That turned us away from Ford for the time being. but at some point, the time will be right for another one. Especially if I ever get a truck again. that F150 Raptor is a pure beast.

Triumph.....definitely. Would you ever consider a Victory?

you have any videos of you racing one of the Gen5 Z28s?. If you've raced them before, what's your impression of them?
