I have a 2019 so it's SYNC 3.

Every once in a while my Ambient Lighting will just turn on by itself. I'll go in the settings and the box for Ambient Lighting is NOT checked even though it's on. I have to select it, then un-select to get it to turn off. Any ideas?

There has to be something on the inside because reaching in the car with the windows down will set off the alarm. I've set mine off several times just walking beside it. (windows were down.)

If you find a set I might split it with you and take the driver's side upper cover. I'm sure after a few years the bolster is going to start wearing away from getting in and out of the car.

As far as the alternator, the S550 has a smart alternator. It won't charge the battery under spirited driving so it doesn't take power away from the engine.

Leaks around the A-pillar and windshield are VERY common in the 2015-2017 S550's. I had one in my 2015. That's just one of the reasons I traded for a 2019.

Thanks everybody. Just what I needed to know. I'm guessing the whole front fascia has to come off. Not looking forward to that.

Has anyone installed an aftermarket Bullitt grille? The ones on eBay seem to have black trim around the edge instead of the stock chrome trim. Do they really or are their pictures misleading? I have a Bullitt and I think I might like the non-chrome grille better.

Hoping to get my second letter soon. My camera went out for a day or two last month, but it's working fine now. If anyone has the recall performed, let us know how it goes and what they replace.

I had problems with mine last year so I'm glad to see this recall.

Is it a Ford problem or Michelin?

I got lazy and let them drop to about 29 one time, so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. That and I was driving it pretty hard for the first couple of years, lol.
