What’s the cause here guys, ring gap, detonation, where to go from here opinions?..gen2 stock motor, whipple on 93 and meth, at time pushing 15 peak psi

Hard to tell exactly what’s going on from the pic but is the crown of the piston melted away between the valve reliefs?

Cylinder wall marks there right side of image or are those reflections from light/lens flare?
If those are marks in cylinder wall, possibly ring binding galled/divot leading to bound ring land. lands chip/shatter up side of piston to relieve the bind (self clearance).
Looks like ring was buckling all the way around as there is a repeat pattern of mostly equal spaced cylinder wall marks likely from induced twist as ring binds and then on both sides of each contact you have another bind mark from where counter twist starts. Bascially, ring becomes slightly wavy to try and fit in the circumference once the gap closes to 0.0000.

Valves trashed?
Deepest cylinder wall scuff less than 0.5 mil?
$Trade in as is?
$Replace piston and ring and attempt light rehone and compression test and either keep or trade?
$$4k new service long block?
$$$Sleeved block build?

Not sure about valves I’m assuming there good... I’m probably gonna pick up a rpg built block from hellhorse performance and swap everything over

Ring glands took out my stock gen 2 notice cause smoke from my breather car ran fine till miss fire codes did comp test and 7 and 8 were basically gone mind u no know or any noise once we dissambled the old motor found the rings glands on the sides completely crumbles still in place so no major damage that block is currently being rebuilt running a sleeved one now my money on that

Without pull it apart its hard to pin it down onto one thing but I would personally guess ring gap. I had a cylinder #8 ring land failure on my 2017 due to the factory gap. I would suggest going with a piston designed for boost honestly since you will need a new set anyway. Block should be reusable with a little bit of cleanup.
