I could be wrong, very high probability, but did I read somewhere that the new Mustang with power seats will have a feature that when you open the door the seat moves back a few inches to aid in getting in/out? Good chance I just made that up but I thought I saw that somewhere....
The Guard Premium Eco-Boost I sat in Didn't do this, it also didn't Move Either Front Seat Forward to make getting In or Out of the Back Seat any Easier. I was kinda Dissapointed by this since My 2003 Accord's Passenger Seat Moves Completely Forward when the Seat Back is Released.

The Only thing that Moves when Opening and Closing the Door is the Door Windows. They Drop 1/2 an inch when You Open the Door and Close after the Door is Closed to Form a Better Seal and Reduce Air Pressure in the Cabin.

I prefer manual seats over power, like extra bolstering over extreme comfort, and don't give a damn about heating/cooling. So obviously I went RECARO. If you don't feel the same about those three issues, you should probably stick with stock seats. Especially since the stock seats are $1500 cheaper.

Now that I think about it more, I don't really care about the powered seat option. Like you said, I rarely move the seat. I didn't get the premium GT because the extra $4k in stuff they add isn't worth the extra cost, so heating/cooling isn't a factor.

I live in 120Âş heat, I want cooled seats. I plan on increasing cornering grip substantially and want to be held in place.

I'm torn, but I've never had cooled seats, so I won't miss it and I have been forced to upgrade my seats in previous cars because my lateral grip was too great. That is why I'm leaning towards recaros, but paying more to lose cooling does bug me a little. Power and heat mean nothing to me.

If it's like my wife's Fusion it's a setting that gets selected for the seat to move back when exiting and then forward to memory position of the keyless entry remote being used. It's a checkbox in the menus called Entry/Exit. Hopefully the Mustang has it too

I'm getting the stock seats..I need the memory adjust on the seats because I will have someone in the back from time to time..The heated seats should be good but the cool seats are a crap shoot. I've been In cars the cooled seats were good and some it was a waste.

That's probably the same one I sat in yesterday @ Countryside Ford, making the rounds it sounds like...I didn't notice it either but honestly didn't get much time with it and was just in awe I was actually in one..

My MKZ does this and it's a very nice feature. I never bang my knees anymore. I understand it's a menu option in the setup screens. Could be why the demo vehicles aren't doing it; just not turned on.

I sat in a S550 EB Premium today and the seats are very comfortable and surprisingly well bolstered, much nicer than last year's. Unless your tracking it I would think you'd be very happy with the stockers, they are sweet.

I ordered the Recaro seats but I am not thinking of having it changed to just the stock seats. Should I stick with the Recaro's?

The biggest reason I am thinking about switching back to stock is that I am paying over $1500 extra for the Recaro's and I am losing powered seats...
You're also losing heating and cooling on the seats. I'd go with the stock seats if they're good-fitting and comfortable.

Keep the Recaros!!! Losing powered seats is not that big of a deal. For me anyhow, I will never move my seat again. I am sure the stock seats are great and well thought out, but for me I love the idea of sport inspired seating when I drive. All this business of only a track car should have Recaros is crazy talk..why not feel like I'm at the track when I go to the store or work. Or when I cruise the country roads and curvy corners.

I say go for em if thats what you had in mind, its all what you want in the end.

I use my heated seats on at least the low setting about half the year and I am in Kentucky. And you are in Canada?

For me, the heating/cooling combined with the fact that most are raving about the improvements to the feel and support of the standard seats, has cemented my plans to skip the Recaros. It just sounds to me like the Recaros are not nearly as much of an improvement as they were for '14 and earlier, and I think I can probably get a bit more bang for my buck by spending that $1,500 on some performance mods, or something else altogether.

From a purely aesthetic standpoint, the Recaros do look nice though, but I think the standard seats combined with 68B (or the 50th AP) look really good too!

Sitting in the 68B premium/premier seats is what cemented my plans to skip the Recaros.

Yes sir, though I park my car for the snow. Here there is a lot of sand dropped and I cringe at that hitting my car. So I never use heated seats. Cooled, yes could be a nice feature, but I have never had em and won't want them enough to skip Recaros.
