Recall 23V727 (Brake System Warning)

Received a recall notice today. The notice says it is just an update BCM software.
Anyone had the work done yet and how long to actually do the update? My car is staying in the garage until we get better weather so I may wait until Spring. If it is something I can wait for then maybe I will do it asap.

I got the same letter last week. My car is in storage for the winter so I'll take it in sometime in the spring.

A recall will be honored now, six months from now, or even six years from now so don't worry about it. It's not worth pulling the car out of storage for this recall, it can wait until summer.

My dealer sent out a mobile unit to my house and they did it here in 20 minutes.

I got mine on Friday. I have an appointment on January 3rd to get it taken care of.

This is for 2020-2023 Mustangs. Mine is a 2018, so not affected.

My neighbor/friend runs the dealers shop I go to. He came over and did mine. Then he took my maverick in for the airbags. Never had to leave the house. Cost me a handle of captain.

Yeah. Sounds like those that have had it done it’s a 30 minute job at most

I got this recall notice for my Mach 1 too. I'm assuming since this is the BCM module, this won't mess with my tune, right? ECM being separate.

To be safe you should return to stock just in case they do a complete re-flash Zelek!!
