Get in my car to drive to work and about 2 minutes out of my garage and the "Charging System Service Now" warning comes on with the battery light. Switch over to check it and the cluster is reading 11.7 volts. Get to a pullover spot and check under the hood for any loose wires, nothing noted. Start driving it back to the house and voltage drops to 10.7 and then my coolant temp spikes to 270 setting off the "Over Temp" warning. Then she goes into limp mode, AFR is pegged at 20.0 and it feels like she's misfiring.
Finally get it into my garage, temp is at 280. Shut her down and pop the hood again. No steam, no smoke, no burning smells...
Any ideas? I'm going to call roadside assistance a bit later and schedule a tow to the dealership tomorrow morning.
Mods: Steeda Intake, SW headers and Corsa Catback, 170 T-stat and Lund tune. All the parts have been on for over a month so I doubt it's something caused by the mods...but ya never know.
