  1. Ordered a Watson 4 point roll bar

Queue the Boromir meme: One does not simply plan for a nasty rollover... I watched in horror as the brakes failed on a Mustang GT going over 125mph into turn 8 at Carolina Motorsports Park last October. His car went tumbling into the trees. Fortunately for him he had a 4 point roll bar, racing...
  2. Ordered a Watson 4 point roll bar

Yes that is interesting! Joe was very certain that I had done it wrong.. Here is Joe talking about it in a video where he has the harnesses run through the middle of the bars:
  3. Ordered a Watson 4 point roll bar

Danger Will Robinson! The harnesses go through the middle of the headrest bars, not the outside, since they can slip over the side during a nasty rollover. This is as described by Joe Marko, the owner of HMS Motorsport in Mooresville, NC... when I did the same thing that you did and he saw me...

  5. 1st HPDE Day Tips and Prep?

@TRDFurgesson you are beating that track like it owes you money! 😁 @Mikegotamach Do not try to do what @TRDFurgesson is doing when you go to the track or we will see a "WTB: New Mustang" ad on here 😂
  6. 1st HPDE Day Tips and Prep?

You are wise beyond your years, @2morrow  @Mikegotamach This ^^^ Also, flush and replace your brake fluid with something like ATE 200... if your brake fluid boils while you're at the track, you're done until you flush it. I wouldn't worry about going with the more expensive racing...
  7. 1st HPDE Day Tips and Prep?

Yep, it all depends on how deep the pockets are and how protected @Mikegotamach wants the car to be on the street as well..
  8. 1st HPDE Day Tips and Prep?

If you are worried about rock chips on your front bumper, hood and windshield, it is because you care about your car's appearance. I recommend at the very minimum to put some painter's tape on the front bump and front of the hood. That is what people who rarely track will do... but if you are...
  9. WTF Again??????

I am actually really impressed with how well the dealership took care of you while you were there... free coffee and donuts... free windshield wipers and they came to you to fix the brake problem. That's really impressive. It stinks that they couldn't get the correct bolts, but as they say "sh*t...
  10. Reckless Driving

Amen brother... they can get bent if they think I'm not going to protect myself.
  11. Reckless Driving

There are 2 lessons that everyone should learn from this: 1) Get a radar detector. I use a Uniden R7 and it's freaking brilliant! It has saved my butt so many times, it has paid for itself 10 times over. My other Mustang is a 2013 Shelby GT500 with > 700rwhp and it idles at 80mph! I live in the...

  15. Clicking noise

Well, it's the performance that I want.. I guess Ford never really expected Mustangs with a performance pack to be driven on track or they'd have made them better track cars... but I digress. For the OP, hopefully you can find the torque specs that you need. One thing I suggest doing is using...
  16. Clicking noise

My pockets are not so deep, so I guess I will be sticking with the 1 piston wonders! Boo on Ford!
  17. Clicking noise

I did change out my stock pads for Hawk DTC-60s and then it started doing it, so that is probably what's up. I will have to lube up the ends of the pads and see if that helps. I really need to upgrade the rear calipers to the 4 piston Brembo's.. those 1 piston Akebonos really need to be put out...
  18. Clicking noise

It definitely could be that, for sure. My buddy had the same problem in his 2021 Mach 1 as well. Is it fixable?
  19. Clicking noise

I will have to let others respond who have successfully dealt with the clicking problem.. my car is still having this issue, I just haven't gotten around to looking at it since it is coldy-shivery-gonna-die-of-frostbite time at my house 🥶
  20. Clicking noise

Check torque specs on everything back there.. it sounds like something came a little loose. I would do this ASAP.
