After almost 8 months I decided to clean the back window. It wasn't as dirty as that sounds. I'm 6'3 190 and a senior citizen. It was torture and I was using a cleaning device that's suppose to make it easier. Can't imagine there's a better way but if I'm missing something please don't hesitate enlightening me.

I am 6'1 and 220. I have done it twice and it is pure torture. I dont think us big guys have any hope. It just plain sucks. I will say when you are there to over do it. Nothing like climbing out to find you missed a spot.

Fwiw, Sprayaway cleaner is really good with no streaks.

Ya, I am 5'11" and 200lbs. It sucks. That microfiber cloth on handle tool helps a bit, but still difficult to clean - I think I have done it maybe two times. Needs to be done again, but I just haven't got in there to do it.

I just got my 5'4" 115 lb wife to do it! Of course I used my torn rotator cuff as an excuse!

And I thought the convertible window was hard. I guess not after reading these posts!

I went in on the drivers side since it was in the garage. Is the other side any easier? I actually got wedged between the seat and door frame. Dirty rear window will be the norm..

6ft 1in, 210lbs...what a pain. I faced the rear of the car, climbing in from the passenger side, and straddled the two rear seats with one knee in each little seat bucket. Still not fun. At all. There's just no easy way to do it.

It's probably almost easier to remove the whole window and clean it every time. That's how tight it is. I have long arms, so that helps.

I have a half cage in the way of mine. Getting back there isn't much of an option.

I did a track day in May that required numbers, so I bought clings for inside the front and rear windshield. When I took them off at the end of the day, they both left pieces of number stuck to the window (sidebar: first and last time buying from Track Decals; took 3 weeks to arrive and the quality was junk). The front required a lot of elbow grease to get it all off. Let's just say those pieces are going to be in the rear window for a while.

Put the front seats forward, pull the rear seatbacks down, open the trunk. Either go on feet first from the front and put your legs in the trunk, or crawl in from the trunk, sitting up when you get into the rear seat. Way easier to get close to the glass without your legs and the seatback in the way.
