Curious how I got a chip in this spot.

It was a dump truck sized meteor that entered our atmosphere then hit your car. No but seriously the paint seems very easy to chip on these cars I've had my car a year it has less than 2k miles and there are rock chips all over it.

actually have one in the same spot on the passenger side door. haven't had the car two weeks. Oh well, I guess Ill buy some filler paint from the dealer.

Thankfully it's not as thin as my G8's paint. I sneezed once next to it and pretty sure I caused 3 rock chips. Luckily I have only gotten 1 on my Mustang. Right on the rear top quarter panel by trunk.

I did it. Sorry. I actually liked the color, so a took a s small a sample as I could to bring to Home Depot to get the paint for the outside of my house perfect.

When you say "many layers later", do you mean that you performed the DrColorChip process as many times as required to get a flat-filled chip?

I can't seem to get the results they do in their videos in just one step. :frusty:
