It's not the tires that suck, it's the size. You're not going to get grip with much of anything in a 235. I run a 305 and they do not spin from a dig unless I try to launch hard on the street in first. Two foot second and they manage much better.
That's the "finished" product. It has a couple of bubbles that I need to figure out how to get gone, and some wrinkles that might end up getting pulled and relayed...
It's just not easy to work with, and double difficult if you're using a super thick vinyl like I did (felt-ish finish on it)

You never ELIMINATE drone, you simple relocate it. The longer the lead on the J pipe, the higher the drone is, but going too long will cause new drone to appear lower if you go too long.
