Can't seem to find them @ rockauto.
Perhaps I'm not searching correctly ?
If somebody would have a link to it @ rockauto that'll be awesome. Thanks !

Ya, I had to go to the dealer and explain the part as if I was talking to a 6 year old. The install was easier than talking to that guy. While you are in there, might be a good time to upgrade the hub assembly to the FP version, assuming you haven't done that yet.

Takes me about 45 mins a side to take out the axle shafts.

Do keep an eye out for the washer you receive.
The originals were paper thin which caused a click upon direction change for some (me), the revised ones were probably two mm thick.

Preload on the bearing and/or stops the clicking some experience. There seems to be some conflicting info. Some found they were never installed from the factory and don't have an issue.
I've always used them and never had the clicking so who knows.

Also, maybe there's a difference between years but on a 2016 the knuckle and axle don't have to come out to replace the bearing, just get the brakes out of the way.

From my understanding they just put preload on the axle. They take up the slack between the knuckle and the face of the CV.

Not an engineer though, I’m sure someone here can confirm that.

Me either.. if all it does is take up slack, can't it be replaced with a flat washer ?

You might be onto something, but I think the nibs on it act as the “spring” to keep tension where the axle/knuckle meet.

It must be needed to allow a few mms of side to side movement with the driving of the vehicle. No clue what that does for driving characteristics/handling.
