Steeda Sport Progressive Springs (555-8210)- Steeda rear subframe alignment dowels (555-4438)
Steeda Bump Steer (555-8133)- Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates (MM6CC-10)
Steeda Front Sway Bar (555-1015)Steeda Rear Sway Bar (555-1016)- Adjustable sway bar End Links (SBELK1)
Good read.see edits.
you don't want to lower your car more than 1". But if you do, you not only need the bump steer kit you need the front lateral links with the higher pivot point.
The Steeda front bar is redonculous. *IF* you want a front bar, get the BMR/Eibach one. But I would hold off. Forget the rear, or get a GT350 one. People rhave a tendency to each for entirely too much bar.
I've got lightly used Steeda dampers if you're so inclined. They are made by the same outfit that builds the Koni units, yes. But Steeda claims the internals are not the same as Koni. And that seems to bear out but short of dyno proof, it's hearsay/marketing.
I think I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m gonna go with the bilstein b6’s with the steeda sport progressive springs. I want to go ahead and do sway bars because I want to basically dive into the suspension once and never really touch it again. Are you saying I’ll need the front lateral links on sport progressives? The front lateral links is something I’ve seen very little of people changing?see edits.

Good read.
I contacted Steeda’s Suspension guy (Rodney) and got advised on a DD Autocross setup.
Just installed yesterday the first bits:
Mustang Lowering Progressive Springs
Steeda Shocks and Struts (Active, Non Adj)
Camber Plates
pre cut jounce bumpers (as mine looked pretty shabby)
Getting alignment today, its a bit bouncy but certainly feels a better ride to me than BC Racing Coilovers, and thats before settling.
I went all one option because I saved about $200, I don’t care about color, and I have used steeda on my previous car (not a mustang) with good results.
definitely notice the lowering, its about 3/4”-1”.

That’s a great stance! Are those 18” wheels or 19”? If you can post a pic of the alignment specs and let me know how you feel about everything!Good read.

Well, surprise for you, those are the stock 17”s that come on V6sThat’s a great stance! Are those 18” wheels or 19”? If you can post a pic of the alignment specs and let me know how you feel about everything!
Well that’s a great stance and should hopefully look great on 19” PP1 wheels. I’ve looked at so many cars with sport progressive springs and the stance looks different on all of them. I know the 5.0’s are heavier then the eco boost and maybe the V6’s so it’s gonna be different but it seems across the board the fitment seems to vary from car to car in my opinion.Well, surprise for you, those are the stock 17”s that come on V6s![]()
well thank you! I am going after some Anthracite 18x10 Apexes…can’t waitWell that’s a great stance and should hopefully look great on 19” PP1 wheels. Come up here to VA and I'll hand you my Steeda Sport Prog springs. Too much drop IMO and I had them on an Eco paired with their pro-Active shocks.I think I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m gonna go with the bilstein b6’s with the steeda sport progressive springs.
The sentiment is understandable. But the Steeda front bar is nuts! If you're dead set on doing a bar, do *A* front bar, just not Steeda's.I want to go ahead and do sway bars because I want to basically dive into the suspension once and never really touch it again.
You don't HAVE to, but a 1" (or more) drop it should be done. Just because most people "do things wrong" doesn't mean they aren't still wrong. Are you saying I’ll need the front lateral links on sport progressives? The front lateral links is something I’ve seen very little of people changing?
Wanting it to look cool but function at the same time. I more then likely won’t take it to a track but plan on taking it to multiple mountain trips and stuff like that. It’s not my daily driver but I tend to drive it pretty aggressive whenever I do drive it. I plan on boosting it in the future and I just want it to be good at whatever I throw at it.Maybe I missed it, but just what exactly is your plans for the car? Look cool? Track set up? Autox? Dragstrip? Something else?
Judging by what you are looking to do, it appears AutoX or Track, but I would change my advice depending on which route.
So I had a perfect install…That’s a great stance! Are those 18” wheels or 19”? If you can post a pic of the alignment specs and let me know how you feel about everything!
That’s great man! Thanks for the pic!So I had a perfect install…
No longer will doubt myself in mechanics skill.
