Fair enough.Nah, stupid wasn't any more lethal than it is today. Infant mortality and childhood disease don't discriminate by IQ (the rates of both are way down as compared to 1921). The population in the US is also triple what it was in 1921. That's triple the number of idiots.
But 100 years ago, there was no internet, no interstate system, no cell phones, no TV and like you said A LOT less people.
So my point stands. 100 years ago, statistically you were less likely to run across a live idiot.
