Not entirely. Only the swing cars are cut around the spoiler. On the older track pack spoiler, they are complete and go all the way under. But youā€™ll never get the track pack spoiler off without jacking them up.
It is possible to get the earlier track pack spoiler off without damaging the stripes, but it requires lots of care and slow work. However, if swapping to an R wing the issue won't be the stripes, but rather the holes that are in that part of the trunk lid. That said, there are filler panels that some companies sell to cover those holes when using the R wing.

Here are pics of my stripes after very carefully removing the track pack wing from the Rented Mule (2016) showing all the 3M tape residue and once cleaned.

Instead of an R wing (or the FP350S wing), I used the "swing" on the Mule.

Looks good Chris. May I ask how you came to that decision?

Part of my "baby steps" approach. The swing is a bit better than the standard spoiler and a better balance to the R splitter I'm adding. It's also very affordable and is OEM, so doesn't move the car very far from its original appearance.

Depending on development, if I take the next step, it'll be much more radical.

Sounds good, and in no way am I second guessing your decision. I envy you. I would like to have a dedicated race car like you are going to have. I think that is the best way to go.

no, its because the car isn't a 0-60 car. Its a roadcourse car that doesn't come alive until 3K rpm. Geesh.

Lol - Cool, look, you don't even have the car yet that you are so proud of. Better ice that arm down, son - probably pretty sore from patting yourself on the back!

Back on topicā€¦ today I received the Anderson GT350R replica wing and was able to pick up my new second trunk freshly painted in Ford Performance Blue.

The Anderson box had a big ol' hole in it like someone jabbed it with a forklift. I believe others here have had the same issue. (Anderson warehouse worker signature move?) Anyway, I unwrapped the wing before letting the delivery driver go (quite an ordeal - they are well packaged, to their credit) and it looked good.

I will try to install them in the next few days and share some photos. I'm excited to "complete" the car with this change.

How do you remove the extension panel nuts (aka retainer plate nuts, part W710609-S439) that go under the retainer plate that goes under the decklid trim piece? This is the one part I haven't been able to extract from the old trunk (and of course all the parts counters in my area are now closed for the night).
