I vastly prefer the GT350R rear spoiler to the standard GT350 one. Would I be a poser if I installed an R spoiler on my GT350? (I know it would require filling and painting the trunk lid.)

Also here's the GT500 CFTP spoiler for reference:

Nope. One of the only regrets I have for my R is that I'm reluctant to modify anything. If I had a non-r, I'd feel free to do whatever...I'd have an E85, FBO monster. ;)

I have a wing if you're looking ;)

Put the wing on your car. How will you deal with the holes in the middle?

That's what I thought. Now I'm reluctant to do anything to my non-R. If I got a 5.0, it'd have twin turbos quicker than you could say Jack Robinson. :)

Gt350 = car is close enough to an R that you are not a poser

Ecoboost = I personally wouldn't put an R spoiler on it ...I would find a different aftermarket

I think your car is close enough to an R that your definitely not a poser

Poser? No. Not unless you put red badges all over it and told people it was an R, lol

I did it so that I could add 400 pounds of downforce to the rear at 120 mph. However, I'll admit I wish I now had the GT500 CFTP Wing. The APR wings have yet to catch my interest. if I could redo my trunk which I could for $$$ I'd switch to the 500 CFTP wing or one similar.

yep, do it... i'm planning to add an R-type wing to my 350 as soon as i find one that fits my budget. on my GT, i used a small body shop to have the holes patched and painted, and then readded the stripes.

I'm with the others I don't see an issue with it. Red badges/ red pin stripe is the only thing I wouldn't do to a non R...I put the R splitter on mine, and would do the wing too if that was my thing. I'll be replacing my wing as well, just with something different.

There are a ton of mint wingless trunk lids too for pretty cheap around. Lots of N6 anyway. That's what I would do if I could find a CI, instead of patching holes.

Does the CFTP wing not use the same mounting holes/style as the R? It looks like it would be darn close. Worth investigating anyway.
