Quick tip for those with kids (or backseat passengers)...

I'm in my Pony by myself about 75% of the time and have the kids with me the other time. Since I'm by myself most of the time, and have short legs, I have the easy entry/exit seat turned on. Instead of having to go into the menu and turn it on and off when the kids are with me, I recently discovered that if you press the memory button immediately before shutting the car off, it cancels the easy exit function and the seat doesn't move. Finally, a (relatively) easy way of getting in and out when the kids are in the car without crunching my daughter's legs and feet!

Thanks. Is the easy entry/exit in all the premium package cars? I didnt notice this on mine (how do you access? through menu?).

I'm in the same situation. The kids hate when the "masher" starts!! Ive been turning the car off, then immediately pushing the seat forward (with the lever on the side). I learned that you only needed to briefly move that to cancel the masher.
So what you are saying is to push (for example)... the memory1 button and then turn the car off?

I think all of them have the easy entry/exit function if they have power seats. You can access the setting to turn it on/off under Driver Settings in the center display. The seat/mirror memory function is on the premium models with the Shaker/HD Radio/Memory Settings/BLIS package.

Exactly. I reach for both at the same time. Hit the memory button and then the start/stop button right after. Seat never moves.

You're pretty close minded.

I'm 6'2". I like to be close to the wheel (ever look at how close pro drivers are?). Getting out is much easier when seat is back. Sure I can do it when it's not. But why do I need to? Plus, with some of my knives and their clips (I collect knives), the clip can scratch the steering wheel leather. Easy exit gives more room so that don't happen. Plus having more room means my shirt don't ride up and expose my sidearm if I'm carrying at the time.

There's an app for that.

If you are in a tight parking spot and can't open the door all the way, it makes it much easier to get out. Also, with the seat all the way back....I don't drag my ass across the side of the seat when I get in or out.
