I'm just the opposite, I listened to the base stereo and it sounded like something my parents had in their '85 Toyota. Anyways, our opinions are purely subjective. I live in FL and love the option of heated and cooled seats, and with all the idiot drivers here during the tourist season I'm sure the BLIS will come in use plenty of times.

reverse park assist isn't included in 401a

I found it to be quite opposite. it was a nightmare finding 401a as it was...even more of a nightmare finding 401a with premier trim. local dealers here hardly ever have 401a too.
Does BLIS not utilize the reverse sensors?

Never knew to much about BLIS until my wife bought her new Edge. Once I drove her care for a while it was "gotta have it" on my new mustang.

I did a MBRP stainless street sound system upgrade and now cannot notice the radio at all.

Best $600 so far!

I do not have 401a (just the regular premium system) and it sounds ok, but honestly the '15 Jeep Rubi had a better system!

Vert turbo!!!!
I have the sub... I ONLY recommend it IF you change out the two rear speakers.... and least for the vert.

Without the upgrade, your treble comes only from the front and your car sounds like crap. $70 rear speakers will even out the sound and you will love it.

Oddly enough as well, my manaflows makes my bass sound deeper than it is... but I loved the sub from the start. It kicks... not sure why I would want or need anything any louder.

I bought it for the CD player.. Now I can play my Phil Collins Greatest Hits CDs.

I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lawd...
LOL!!! I love it. I would actually do this but I have a vert so I would probably be embarrassed (guess Id do it when the top was up).

I love the 12 speaker shaker on my Vert. Its the loudest factory stereo I have ever owned and sounds perfect with the top down at high speed unlike the other verts I have owned. Its not as good as say my Mark Levinson in my old Lexus (true 7.1)... but its louder with a lot more base. I wont ever need to "upgrade" it... I can already rattle my house when in the garage and I'm not into also rattling my neighbors hours.

Not worth it IMO. I was seriously considering it when I ordered mine but felt that what you were getting was not worth $1800. Plus without reverse sensors it gives you some more options on upgrading the rear valence if you care about that.
So if I'm considering on swapping (and I'm about 99% sure I will) the rear with the GT350 valance, should I stay away from the 401A?

I am considering 2016 GT CS with the 401A package and am really debating if it is worth it to spend the extra $1795? Does the 12 speaker system make that much of a difference? And how about the other options in the package?

Any input would be much appreciated!

Thanks!!
I ordered mine with 401a just for the memory seating and BLIS. I really didn't give a shit about the sound system. I have memory seating in my 2013 F150 FX4 and for multiple drivers, its a must as far as I am concerned.;)

Interesting, so if I had started a new thread about this topic I would have been told to use the "search" box. And if I ask about a specific comment in regards to the topic I'm a "nekro", outstanding! :frusty: I didn't think the thread was that old . Got it thanks KS

I dont think it refers to you specifically, just the act of bringing back a dead thread. there is a certain forum member that is notorious for it. I wouldnt worry about:shrug:
