I dont think it refers to you specifically, just the act of bringing back a dead thread. there is a certain forum member that is notorious for it. I wouldnt worry about:shrug:
But he does have a point. This is a commonality on most forums:thumbsup:

Honestly this is the first forum I've even been on where that term was used. Granted the only forums I frequent are allpar and here.

Interesting, so if I had started a new thread about this topic I would have been told to use the "search" box. And if I ask about a specific comment in regards to the topic I'm a "nekro", outstanding! :frusty: I didn't think the thread was that old . Got it thanks KS
He he. I was thinking the same thing.:headbonk: Damned if you do, Damned if you don't:frusty:

But seriously, 401A package won't impede me from swapping valances? I'm shopping around for a OC PP and I know that I will be getting the GT350 valance/exhaust once I get it (fingers crossed).

Even if you do have reverse sensors, you can buy the GT350 valance with or without, the reverse sensors. They make them with both.

I can understand HD radio, memory seats and better speakers, but why charge that much for a safety feature? Bliss prevents accidents and should be included as standard equipment if not at least as a stand alone option. I think is inmoral that auto manufactures charge extra for safety features.

I agree with you on the charging (or showing the charge) of a safety feature. But ABS, Air Bags, Backup Cameras, etc. are all safety features and are just hidden in the cost anyway.

You are getting screwed over, however you look at it:rant:

I had a 2012 5.0 with the 401A pkg and I thought the system SUCKED. When I replaced the door speakers I was shocked to how FREAKIN CHEAP they were they weighed no more then a plastic model kit, really they are CHEAP.

necro or nekro'ing has been around since the dawn of message boards yall. I'm just joking around though. Sometimes it's really aggravating and unnecessary depending on the thread. Whenever someone does it regardless I like to poke fun and point it out.

necroposting
On a message board, posting something irrelevent on a really old topic to bring it to the top of the list topics. name comes from the fact that you are bringing it back from the dead, thus Necro. a practice common among n00blars.

I bought the 400a, I wish I had BLIS. Careless about memory seats, but would like better sound, although, not important, but the BLIS would be worth it. I regret not buying the 401a

At least make us believe that's standard equipment. I wouldn't mind Ford bumping the price of the car $300 and include the Bliss feature as standard equipment. I think Bliss is a very important safety feature and to price it with a package at $1800 is just wrong.

As with many options/mods, much depends on how you intend to use the car & what you can afford.
For me, I wish I could have ordered the memory seat/mirror as a stand-alone option. Would have popped for those in a heartbeat. Didn't really care about the BLIS & rarely listen to the sound system (would much rather listen to the motor & exhaust music). Wasn't worth $1800 for just the seat.
