If this is the connection, looks like there should be an o-ring, also.
I cannot remember what I used on the coupling threads but here is Quik Jack Instructions

Wow where did you find this? This is exactly what I will be needing. Thanks

I've been working so I haven't had time to dig around their website but I did call them and they sent out the couplers I believe. Their warranty service guy didn't sound like he knew anything. Im going to try to get another whole power unit lol

I actually asked him specifically if I would need some kind of thread sealant or a type of plumbers tape like the ones used on the couplers for the hoses and he said no

I'm not going to lie but, if I seen a O-Ring seal on a coupling I wouldn't put teflon on it. BUT, If it said to I would. I will down load the PDF and attach for you.
What exact model did you buy?

If it's just a threaded connection with no flared surface you either need tape/paste or an o-ring depending on the type of connection.

Hmm yeah thats a tough call. It doesn't seem like that use either teflon or a sealant so anything is better. Its weird that they suggest using it for the hose couplers but not the ones for the power unit

I bought the 5000TLX and thanks again

Just needs a new oring. Put a little liquid thread sealant on the threads if you must. But I've seen many aviation hyd oring fittings designed just like that and properly done, they dont leak at 3000 psi for long periods of time.

Now a few reasons for them to start leaking... oring was twisted at installation, preventing a good seal. Installing an oring dry will cause this, too. Use a little of the fluid on the oring when installing so it doesnt bind or twist.
Fitting is under torqued.
Seat or fitting or oring was dirty at assembly.

I doubt anything is wrong with the power unit unless its cracked or made wrong. Its just an oring!

Wow you were 100% correct. The new couplers came in and I didn't even need to use them.

The top coupler was just really loose which is why it was leaking 😅 Didn't even think of that when it was happening lol. Just lifted my car and it worked completely fine

Keep them on hand. The internal o rings will leak eventually

Beautiful. Glad it was an easy, cheap fix.
