FWIW When I got mine, Costco.com had free delivery. If delivery isn't a problem (someone home, etc.), might be the way to go.
As big and heavy the 3 boxes are (over 100 lbs total), they ought to knock a bunch off if you buy in store. Must cost a fortune to ship these things.

You do not need absolutely anything to protect pinch welds - that's complete nonsense from the "you absolutely need jacking rails, otherwise you're going to die" crowd. There are literally millions of cars on the roads being lifted every day by their pinch welds in service shops. And they're fine. In fact, I lift my 54 year old car by pinch welds and it's fine.
What you need for quick jack is something to protect the rubber blocks from being split by the pinch welds - with car that heavy, they eventually will and set is like $80. Either rails or jacking pads work fine for that purpose.

Costco in Canada is selling that same Quickjack model for $1199.99 CDN, which is $914.90 USD. Has me thinking about getting one at that price.here at my local Costco right now, stumbled upon this, they got a whole bunch of them...

Yeah that is with quick jack told me. Pinch welds would slice block eventually resting on metal frame. Has anyone tried the ZL1 add on lifting blocks that mount two the car? Kinda scared of fit and rust in general.

Yes, absolutely - I set up rubber blocks so they hit the pads when the Quickjack is going up.

The ZL1 jack pads work great.

Plus you have to install the pads where they even can align to hit the blocks. The blocks don't have a huge range of placement.
If someone doesn't care about the slight amount of extra weight, BMR (or other) jacking rails save the time of making sure they line up with the QuickJack, plus make it easier to jack up the car when the QuickJack isn't available. If pads are installed where they are needed for the QuickJack, they won't be in good spots to lift one side of the car with a single jack placement.
