I went with he 5k as as none of my vehicles exceed the capacity. My only complaint is that this product is marketed for its portability. By it's size it is very portable but not very easy to move about due to the weight. I am by no means am a wimpy guy but you are not going to be easily lifting these bad boys. Even worse if you opt for the 7k set.

I just run it around on the wheels, pick up just the one end, when I get it to the wall I want to lean it against I lean it over and the wheels come off the ground. Put the other beside it and run a bungee from an eye on a stud through the frames and to another eye on the other side. Easy peasy. I bought the 5000EXT, I also use it to lift my Hyundai Santa Fe XL which weighs around 4600 lbs, no issues, picks it up like a toy. And solid as a rock when you let it down onto the safety locks.

I use the supplied rubber blocks, no issues with the pinch welds or the aero thing in there.
