Thanks for the guidance, I ended up getting the Steeda rails.

Just picked mine up from Frisco. They had a dozen or so.If you live in DFW, the Costco in Duncanville has them in stock for $999. You won’t have to worry about the biggest complaint in reviews, which seams to be damage during shipment.
Another.. I don't set any reason to add the weight of railsAnother for ZL1 jack pads.
Which BMR rails did you go for? The longer or shorter low profle ones? Are they visible from the side (would red show on a dark GT350)?Why small in front?
I use large front and back. The BMR jacking rails end up 18.875 (7/8) off the floor. It's a tight squeeze to get the large blocks in after its under the rails but since the blocks set down inside the quick jack, its easy to put the front large ones in before positioning them under the rails.
Pros and cons for both. One of those is being able to lift one side of the car with a single floor jack placement and operation. Very handy at the track when your pit crew is on strike.Another.. I don't set any reason to add the weight of rails
Low profile. All my BMR stuff is red but I can't see the rails from any distance unless my eyes are lower than the side splitter (don't know proper term) In fact, they tuck up so high when I lift the car on the QuickJack those side pieces touch the QuickJack.Which BMR rails did you go for? Sounds good - thanks for the input guys!Low profile. All my BMR stuff is red but I can't see the rails from any distance unless my eyes are lower than the side splitter (don't know proper term) In fact, they tuck up so high when I lift the car on the QuickJack those side pieces touch the QuickJack.
You can lift the GT350 by jacking any point on the side of the car. So you do not need rails for that.Pros and cons for both. One of those is being able to lift one side of the car with a single floor jack placement and operation. Very handy at the track when your pit crew is on strike.
It comes with a set of short and tall rubber blocks. You will need something to protect your pinch welds, or just get some rails. The pinch weld blocks quick jack sells do not fit our cars without modification. The puck style pinch weld blocks suck and will more than likely split in half.Hello
My local store just received several of these and I am very tempted to buy it. However, can someone tell me if puck or pads are required and if so, what is the best ones to use. Pictures would be very appreciated
Also, in the winter can the car remain elevated to keep the tires off the ground?
Thank you
That is something I would ask the mfg. just to be sure. However when you use the quick jack properly you will jack it above the first stopping point and then you lower it to lock the safety stops into place. It takes the load off the piston and seals. So with that it should be ok.Also, in the winter can the car remain elevated to keep the tires off the ground?
