Can someone please tell me exactly where this plug is at? Maybe a picture could be sent? We've been having a little bit of issues with the light flashing going down the track and cutting power even though all the nannies are supposed to be off. I want to give this a shot next time I'm at the drag strip thanks for everyone's help

What are you doing to shut all the nannies off, and what lights are flashing?

What track? The Ridge?

ETA; Nevermind, I noticed you've mistakenly called a drag-strip a track.

I don't disable any nannies as I'm trying not to wreck my car. Already had it save me when I got a little too hard on it coming out of a turn.
Sounds to me that your "little too hard" was really "a lot too hard" or at least "a little too hard a lot too quickly". Learning fine throttle modulation and using that skill all the time isn't just for autocrossers and road course track rats.

I understand the desire to not wreck, but it's entirely possible to find that "little" without getting "too much". Easier in a MT car like yours, actually.

The plug is DIRECTLY behind the air box on the driver side fender.

Dragstrip mode first
Then toggle up and hold to disable advancetrac and traction control. The dash shows

thank you. I will look for it,

Instructor said it was actually due to me turning the wheel too quickly and not throttle. Either way, smoother steering, if that was the reason, would be good. I can't afford to wreck my car though so I'll stick with the nannies.

Bingo! Plug by airbox. Only way to completely stop ALL nannies. Holding button for 5 seconds does not completely shut off stability control...
Do you have a picture of exactly where this plug is at?

It would be worth it to work on smoother steering inputs . . . and even if there wasn't any other reason it'd be a good enough thing just for keeping AdvanceTrac from getting involved.

The abs is still active w/ plug pulled I believe. No abs lights on dash.
For proper tuning and logging you need all that shit turned off. WOT shifts @ 7600 plus with zero torque reduction is what makes these A10’s so fast. Plus timing! ;).
Hi so pulling the plug the car will improve in 1/4 ? I have the base model n when I put it in sport mode the cpu will pull timing in every shift

I don't know anything at all about road racing or autocross but at the dragstrip drag mode doesn't restrict at all..as per jon lund jr looking at logs after a pass
I respectfully disagree, mine continually cut power when shifting past 3rd gear, timeslips don't lie either does my experience feeling this power cut right after the shift. I have to disable Adv Trac to get no power cut in Drag Mode. I have asked the big names for help but none have responded but one and that back and forth ended after I answered his questions.

I finally got my data logger. So, at tomorrow night’s TNT; I will have proof that drag mode doesn’t pull timing. I already have logs showing A10 shifter in S does cut power before each shift. See the waves above.

I also now know the ECU correctly infers the 91 octane California calls premium. I’m gonna run GT260 tomorrow night and hope the ECU infers at least 93 octane and advances the timing.

Cheers,

Heavens.. all you peeps running nannies as to not wreck woulda been eaten alive in the pre-nannie world. Learn to drive, or better yet, take a HPDS course where the cars they use have ZERO nannies.

Eh... Nannies are the reason we have so many 450-700 hp car options. And for that matter 200hp+ motorcycle options. As long as they can be disabled it's all good in my book.
