When you say all nannies does this include ABS? What else that holding the button doesn't turn off?

I do know that a significant number of autocrossers with 2015 GT's and GT350's have had to use the plug because their stability control will not stay off.

I've autocrossed both a 2015 GTPP base (no drive modes) and a 2018 GTPP 301A (with drive modes) with magneride extensively and there is no stability or traction control intervention other than the few times early in its life when stability control came back on in the 15.

Also the owner manual and the service manual claim that the button push turns of stability control.

Thanks!
The abs is still active w/ plug pulled I believe. No abs lights on dash.

For proper tuning and logging you need all that shit turned off. WOT shifts @ 7600 plus with zero torque reduction is what makes these A10’s so fast. Plus timing! ;).

Not relevant to my needs but thank you very much for the info!
Next question: My understanding is that drag strip drive mode also has zero torque reduction. Is this correct and what rpm does it shift at? I haven't tested mine since I don't have a "good place" and don't want to get addicted since the associated magneride settings on my car are not relevant to autocrossing. :-)

Thanks!

I have read that pulling the plug under hood gives the car a fit and it has to reset at some point. What is the deal with this, as I want to run at the strip with no assist on slicks.

Just the dyno as the front wheels are not moving. I have been driving unplugged for 600 plus miles with zero issues.

So my guess is on the street, with it unplugged, these things act like a proper muscle car and eat up some tires?

and for the dyno, when you plug it back in, will that correct any dash lights?

Drag mode is least intrusive mode around 7400. Stock redline is 7500. My normal D was 7300 range stock.

Tune is only way to maximize it and raise shift rpm. Love the 1-2 once it hooks after shift it is sling shot. :).

Yes, it kills the tires (unplugged) especially after tune on E even in the heat. I’m a little worried about 50 degree air and traction now... lol.

Doea't unplugging it disable the ABS as well?

Neither the holding the toggle or disconnecting the connector near the airbox disable ABS. You're safe there. They both seem to get the same result. IMHO, the toggle is more convenient, but if its acting up, pull the connector. Changing drive modes will reengage the advancetrac it on my '16 too. With the nannies disabled, all the drive mode is doing is setting your throttle sensitivity. Most of y'all would be better drivers if you left it on normal anyway.:turkey:

Ah yes, the good old "Cars & Coffee" traction mode...

fify. :-)

If your car has MagneRide damper settings are tied to drive mode. Also 10 speed shift characteristics SEEM to be modified in the different drive modes but I haven't figured out whether this is true in manual mode. For autocross I use track mode with nannies off combined with manual shifting. I use manual shifting because even though automatic shifting is very responsive on the street. "Very responsive" by street standards is "forever" in an autocross.

I believe the steering response is changed as well, and on the 18s with active exhaust the modes change as well.

So, you go to the track, and run around without turning AdvanceTrac as off as possible? Say good-bye to your rear brakes.
I don't disable any nannies as I'm trying not to wreck my car. Already had it save me when I got a little too hard on it coming out of a turn.

Drag Mode in mine hits at what looks like 7600, gauge turns red, slams into 2nd, rinse repeat, bone stock, no tune.

I don't know anything at all about road racing or autocross but at the dragstrip drag mode doesn't restrict at all..as per jon lund jr looking at logs after a pass
