Well its running and seems to be fine. Going to put 80 miles on it tomorrow to see how things go. Still have an ABS light on and traction control lights. Small potatoes compared to what ive had to do so far. Car pulls really hard..right past 100. on a closed course, of course.

Put 45 miles on it. All highway and it says 32mpg.im gonna fill it up and check it that way. Some of those mileage jobbies in cars are pretty generous. So i have, abs, airbag, check engine, traction control lights all on. Pretty sure the check engine is the sooted up O2's. Not sure on the others. Need to find some info on switching this over to E85 and see if that us going to be a viable option for me.

Dang that was quick. What do these motors put out with the stock turbo on E85? Were the ABS and air bag lights on when you got it?

See thats the problem, i dont remember. The battery was dead and when it ran i was just trying to keep it running half the time. Wasnt paying very good attention. Lesson learned. If i have to guess i would say that yes they were already on. Just filled it up with 91 and the ETS intercooler shipped today. Ill swap that out and try to figure out whats causing the lights to be on. Im not sure on the E85 question. Im sure someone on here a helluva lot more knowledgable than me can answer it though.

Here ya go, try getting into the Engineering Test Mode to see what (if any) codes are stored:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/engineering-test-mode.27581/
Hey thats pretty slick! I have a code reader and the car had 13 faults. Most of them pertained to the blown motor. After erasing them all im down to just a downstream 02 sensor fault. Ill use that to see if i can get the ABS/Airbag/ and traction control codes. A buddy of mine who is a Ford mechanic said that most likely all those are caused by 1 bad sensor somewhere. He is going to bring his work computer over this weekend and do the super scan on it.

So i added up all my receipts last night, (yes i know thats a horrible idea). Total investment so far. $8074. That includes all parts, car and longblock. My goal to keep it under $10,000 is still possible i think.

That's a killer deal for a reliable daily beater. How many miles are on the body? How's the interior?

Beem reading alot on the ole interweb about the rings on the rear spindles failing and causing the ABS/TRAC CONTROL/ AND SERVICE TRAC lights to illuminate. Think she is going back up on lift for an exam today. Im going to inspect the exciter rings and see if we don't have some interference with the abs sensor.

That sucks but at least you found the issue. How much do the rings cost?

I have no idea, nor do i know what they do. Going back together without them. Look like they are just in the way to me. I figure i already have the lights on the dash so it will be a win win. Updates tomorrow!
