Part with little yellow dot is Vertical adjuster. I have that.
The green n yellow is electric harness to plug into PCB not attached to the light housing.
Not sure about Horizontal adjust though lol..

I never re aimed my lights and I blind everyone. Guess I need to stop being an ass hole and adjust them.
yes please. SUVs are the worst behind me because they always get reflected int he mirrors and right into my eyes blinding me a bit. I have to make them go in front of me or speed up enough or it will give me a headache fast.

I've had two or three cars flash me (All older cars with halogens) , I guess they were just older people who don't know any better. I just flash them back to let them know.
It's like "Oh so you think my brights are on now?...let me show you what those look like."

The lights are pretty poor in bad weather conditions, the European cars lose the tri bars though and also our Xenon bulbs were dropped from 35W to 25W, anything above 25W in Europe has to have auto levelling & wash system. Ford obviously didn't want to have the added expense of redesigning the front end to incorporate washers so just dropped the bulb output. I have my manual level set to 1, if its dark & raining visibility is poor.

Only issue I have with mine is pretty normal for the xenon projectors in most cars. With them there is a more abrupt cut off at the end of the beam. It doesn't gradually fade like a halogen light. And it is a more direct light. Though brighter and more clear then a halogen light, when on dark twisty roads, with transitions, it makes it more difficult to see the crest of an oncoming hill, or slightly around a corner. This is where adaptive xenon lights, and now adaptive LED lighting really shines. Pun intended.
And auto high beams is a nice feature as well. I just have to use my high beams more often then I would with adaptive lighting. It's not because they're not bright enough...

I find the headlights in my GT to be inadequate. They are marginal at best at lighting the road. In fact, they are the weakest HID headlights I have ever experienced. I have do use the high beams as much as possible to provide proper illumination for safe driving. After driving BMW for years, the Ford units just not in the same output category.
Anyone else find their headlights weak?

I find the headlights on my 16 EB to be awesome...

I don't care if folks flash me - and those who put on their highs as if dueling only get blasted when I beam'em with even BRIGHTER lights... lmao!!

I drove through pouring rain already for almost 2 weeks straight right after picking up the car and I still feel the lighting is more than adequate during bad weather too.

Maybe those who are having issues with visibility should follow directions in the Owners Manual for properly adjusting the headlights. It's possible they are aimed too low towards the ground instead of pointing out front as they should.

I have the same problem. And while someone brought up a good point that they should be adjusted... the largest offender of blinding me with high beams are SUV's that sit higher and already blind me with their insanely bright lights and just because I go over a bump and my lights shine up for a moment, they have to blind me until we pass eachother with their high beams because they think I am rolling around with my brights when our lights are the same exact intensity.

Very annoying. 99% of newer vehicles on the road have bright lights that shine forward. I know our cars aren't that low, but they sit low enough to where most full size sedans and SUV's/Trucks are absolutely blinding. I don't go flashing my high beams at them.

People are assholes out here in LA with the driving. It really drives me crazy.

I love my lights. I got flashed once but some people are idiots. My cuttoff is perfect and not to high at all. They were in an SUV too so what they saw who knows but if people wanna flash me ill have a a few pennies waiting

Seems driving assholeary exists everywhere there is more than a couple cars on the road at the same time.

I also don't like the output of my headlights, even after adding Osram CBI bulbs they are still not good enough. I think this summer I will be opening them up and adding clear lenses. I think I just got used to how bright my ST is after doing a clear lens swap with CBI's.

Wonder what Ford would do next, 35W HID, LED or fancy LED matrix. I guess the rumoured front facia change will have an upgraded lights package of some sort.
