If you have long gearing, stock exhaust, and comfy tires... then this could easily happen to anyone. Especially if you're used to 400+ hp cars.

Yes so true, true I upgraded the Pirellis and 80-100 seems so smooth like 60-70.

The GT does love to stretch, its a better car in 4th gear than in 1st. And cruise control at 90-100 would do just about any hill you are likely to encounter on the interstate.

Cruise has saved my ass from this speed creep phenomenon on more than one occasion.

My one ticket so far (thank god he gave me a fixit front plate instead of speeding!) was jumping on the interstate on a beautiful spring evening and giving it about 70% up the ramp. Traffic caused me to slow down pretty quick (probably the real reason no speed ticket, he didn't get a good reading), but I was doing at least 85 when I finished the ramp with no effort or drama whatsoever.
