Nighttime driving

Well finally took my first drive after dark.after 5 minutes I realized I hadn't tirned lights to auto.then I also noticed the letters for what drive your in on the shift console weren't lit.is that normal.of course the letters in dash worked,but every AT car I've ever owned have lit up letters on shift console so you can see what mode you're in.

I posted a similar question a week or so ago. Feedback was normal, they do not light up. Odd I agree.

Speaking of which, the horn is pretty lame sounding. Is that what happened, they cheaped out on a second horn?

They removed the 2nd horn sometime last year. Read this:

If you have a 2019 you have one horn, unless you already swapped it out. There is no tranny light on the center console. Ford needed to save a buck for the bulb, socket, & wire.

Bikeman is correct. For 2019 Ford changed the horn to single tone and the drive modes no longer light up in the center.
